There wasnt any noticable difference except that the jet sticker on the side of it. Would u like to see the whole unit or with it installed? If you go to the jet website and put in the car info it will show you what it looks like and the price.

I guess I will be one of the first to try it on an 08? I am looking at getting the MAF sensor and Module (stage 2) here shortly.

I like the MAF sensor! It has to be the easiest thing that I have done to my car so far. I wish I had the time to get into a dyno to see what the hp is now. The only bad thing is that I have never done a base run so I dont know what my base line ever was. All I know is that after installing it I can feel a big difference. Also still cheaper than HP tuners and hey I cant screw something up and blow up my car...

The reason that I went this route was the fact that I dont really understand what to mess with to create more hp. I didnt want to get in there and mess anything up. If my dyno guy ever gets hp tuners then I would like to go that way. I think... But he also only messes with hondas and my car would be the first car that he would b programing. Since this car is also my daily driver and cant really have him tring to learn on my car. I have heard nothing but good stuff about hp tuners but for the money and a very noticable gain this is a good way to go. I dont like to nock anybody on how they go. There is alot of people that wont even do anything to there cars. Im just impressed with JET first time I have ever used them...

If you have an 08 2.4, HPTuners can't tune it.....yet

Jet Performance Module...not Jetchip.

Jet Module Pros:
Low Cost (~$240)
"Plug and Play"
Removable
Resale potential or use on another like Cobalt
Works, gives a seat of the pants difference especially below 4KRPM
If it doesn't work get another or get money back (has happened)
Known Company >25 years

Program ECM/PCM Pros/Cons
If Purchasing >$500 (with credits laptop conectors, etc ~$1,000.00 -- very Conservative estimate)
Get someone to tune ~$250
Detectable for warranty purposes
Not removable
No resale, can't put on another Cobalt
Works...but how much? Do it yourself -- with what info? Potential to have to take car to dealer if problems occurs (has happened).
Tuner may or may not know what they are doing (Good Luck)
and Finally, let's say you get a good ECM/PCM tune and you have to take your Cobalt in to dealer for some other reason. Dealer does a thorough job and finds that your VIN has a new updated tune and reflashes your ECM/PCM -- there goes your "tune"

Did I forget anything?

Doesn't HPT have an option to buy multiple licenses for multiple vehicles? The bold is quoted for the truth and remember just because your warranty has expired doesn't mean they won't do it, I have seen it happen.
