With your new service how can I load the software into my own PCM?
Written by PCMforless.com
Go to http://www.akmcables.com/ and purchase one of his OBD1 cables for $90. I will then send you your program for $50 and the software to load it into your PCM. There are four great benefits of this service.
# I can email you updates of your program if you make changes to your car and you can load them yourself.
# No waiting for an available exchange PCM. I can email you the program and you can load it the same night.
# Free diagnostic software. You will find links to lots of free scanning diagnostic software that is compatible with this cable at his website and you can read your own codes and monitor your car's performance.
# No shipping costs for the PCM. Sorry available for 1994 and 1995 OBD1 vehicles only The only requirements for this service is that you have a computer that you can load the software with. Any pentium class or higher machine with an available serial port will do this. You can even use your desktop machine if you can get it close enough to your car. We are also offering email tunes to customers that own their own copies of LT1 edit, Tunercat, LS1 edit, or HPTUNERS software. We can build you a great starting file for you to work with, or can work back and forth with data acquisition to help you fine tune your car/truck.

I don't want to be a "Debbie Downer" but don't expect much of a change from a mail order tune. It's probably one of the worst ways to get a tune that is accurate to your needs.
I'd personally just learn how to tune and get HP Tuners. That way you can learn much more about computers and how they work.

And that's what tuning is all about...learning...changing and progressing. What are you going to do when you get heavier into your vehicle? There isn't going to be a reflash for you.
