Window/dash mount for your phone, and plugged into charger when in use. No more battery issue and in your face customizable screen of the same data the interceptor provides, for way less cost. Can set display to show stored max/min values along with real time and have audible alarms setup where you want them, great for kr when you dont want to stare while making a pull. Really like mine compared to my old interceptor.

Cool, thanks. I'm pretty sure the lsj tmap has at least one bolt to secure it while 2.2/2.4 uses a werid clip system cuz it "doesn't see boost"

I thought you could program an interceptor to have an alarm too? But what app / bluetooth connector do you have?

i think you may be able to on the interceptor also, but im fairly sure its just a flash of the screen.
I bought this bt connector, $23.99 through amazon...

Repost from another thread

I can't get under my car for awhile, but I'll get a pic up when I can. I didn't get ZZP oil pan. had it done locally. Was a slight pain in my ass, would recommend for others to buy the pan from ZZP

And noorj, you could even make your own kit for future LE5 guys. Maybe you could even re-coup/profit on your own build !

You dirty motha *****! Wish I had my own shop/hoist/tig!!! I'm in at least 6-7$ grand on the kit, 5000 for kit, 1000 for exhaust, clutch+labour was another $1000 ish. Plus tune and supporting mods, prolly bumps it to another 200-500

**** you noorj! Fhack you!!!!!

Haha thanks man, yeah after I make this one and sort out the kinks I would consider doing a couple kits for people. But I definitely feel you on price, gotta pay to play!

I'll be using the stock LE5 throttlebody, I had an LSJ one but I don't think it would help with the turbo as it barely helped NA. Also the throttle response + base running airflow was never quite right with it.

haha yep. So I picked up a zzp big turbo downpipe, manifold and precision 46mm wastegate last night! all the big parts are currently in the mail. I finally maped out how I'm going to do my charge pipes so I updated the parts list with literally EVERYTHING I still need, down to the last coupler lol

anyone got ideas on how I should clean the oil pan before I tap and weld it? I'm thinking just go to town with the degreaser but if there was an easier way please enlighten me.

pics not working now

I know the couplers and t bolt clamps aren't the best quality but at 8 psi I think I'll be fine. I plan on welding most of it together so I should only be using one or two of these at the max

picked it up for a great price and it's in almost brand new condition, came with pipes, couplers, t bolts and mounting brackets!

after everything it should come out to about $2500 with shipping and tax, this is everything including **** I don't really need like the interceptor and catch can and stuff.

But that price might go up a little if I buy an intake manifold. I'm thinking I might just buy one now cuz I probably will at some point and don't want to have to re-do the charge pipes when I do.

hahah well I'm sure you make more power than I will but thanks! do you have a built motor?

So a couple general questions for you turbo guys:

1) what BOV do you have and does it stay open at idle? I'm thinking I'm gonna get ZZP's but I would rather get one that I know will not stay open at idle.

2) does anyone have a open dump wastegate? mine will be to start but IDK if I should buy the stuff to make it recirculating or not, I know its gonna be loud as ****

Forgot one of the things I liked about the interceptor was the ability to toggle on/off auxilliary fans! Helps with cooling on a hot day in line at the track or just sitting in traffic when you want to cool things down. You did get a CN series, not PT from an lsj, right!?

BOV should not be open at idle.............
if it was you'd be sucking in UNFILTERED AIR from the BOV.

My wastegate dump is recirc now was loud as hell without it.

I know it really shouldn't but ZZP states that sometimes they do that with their LSJ kit
