It does, hell yeah! Just damn add a fuse I bought is only good to 10amps. Fuel pump is 15. Gotta try to find a higher rated one.

I got that log this morning of the hill climb KR, I'll email it sometime today.

Guess I could try that fuse, as long as it's only a 10amp fuse. That's what my add a fuse is rated at.

Got my new heat exchanger from OTTP today! Look at the difference between the Cobra and OTTPs!

Now I just have to tap 2 fittings for my air bleed lines and hook it all up. I haven't figured out which is inlet and outlet. Gotta do some more searching.

Alright, finally have it all installed and plumbed in. Lessons learned on this one haha. If you're going to add some air bleeder fittings, YOU WILL HAVE TO MODIFY YOUR BUMPER SUPPORTS.

But now I don't have my HE hanging by zipties, it's rock solid and looks badass from a front view. Plus it's much bigger than the Cobra, and bigger plus cheaper than ZZPs stage 3 HE.

What are you guys and gals' opinions on the phenolic gasket? I bought one for my build, didn't use it. But now I'm pulling my intake manifold off to chase a boost leak, I'm I'm on the fence about it. Choose one of the following:

Option A: yes! Do it! Lower AIT's during idling and faster recovery after pulls!

Option B No! It doesn't work, it will leak boost, and it's a waste of time and money!

I think it might make fitment a bit of a hassle, but I'm unsure of how effective it can really be for $100. If it lowers IATs like 10*+, then it could be worth it for guys pushing a lot of power/boost. But for 5* or so, I'll stick with the extra heat lol.

Alright, thanks. I've talked to some people and they ripped their phenolic gasket out because they weren't seeing drastically lower AIT's. and I would have to find longer bolts. 80mm M6 bolts are a bastard to find around my place. These days I don't do a lot of city driving, and I don't plan on hitting the track until next summer, so I'm just going to replace the gasket tomorrow and leave the phenolic gasket for another time.

I threw the phenolic spacer on but I couldn't tell you real results because I swapped a bunch of stuff when I threw it on. My iats are pretty good though

for bolts you could prob go to home depot and find some threaded rod and make 80mm studs yourself, then just use nuts to fasten it. would make it easier to line everything up.

and I still think you should drill and tap for 8mm fasteners, especially when using the spacer.

Hellooooo from sunny afghanistan! How's the car running Jacob? Get any dyno numbers yet or are you going to crank up the power?

Pat! What's up man? Hope you're doing alright out there!

As for the car, all is well so far. I've been back and forth tuning and making some performance progress. I'm still running a stock blower with the 42# injs. Only thing I've upgraded has been the heat exchanger.

Even my stock clutch is still holding up believe it or not lol. I'm about 5K miles on it since that day at your place.

I've got plans to need that up and move onto a 2.9" pulley and E85 in the near future. Power goals haven't changed much, I'd still like to hit 265-280 whp and not have to tap into engine internals. Perhaps after these upgrades are done, a dyno run will be in order.

I misplaced your address as I was going to mail you your 1/4" drive ratchet and that driver side A-pillar you had asked about.

I hope the best for you out there in the middle east! Stay in touch.

Glad the car is running alright. I knew you'd have thirst for more power. Better do the clutch before you do that! Mine lasted about 30k miles at that power level with 90% highway and I think that's what you do too. You may be able to hold off for a few months on the lutch if you're lucky.

Plans are coming into place for the new dually. Got the wife's buy-in to trade in the MDX so now I have to get back home!! Can't wait to get back, this place is a ******* shithole. ************* are always thinking of new ways to kill us.

Anyways, I'll msg you my address.

Update from the first post as I can't edit it.

Recently purchased a lower mileage M62 with ZZP Mps and a 2.8" pulley. Along with this, I picked up ZZPs 2.5" cat back.

Now all I'm missing is flywheel bolts and new OEM flywheel, KY Stg 3 clutch, 80# injs plus new harness and some tuning for E85! Maybe I'll sneak in a dual pass endplate somewhere.

Nice! My car is put away for the winter now. Work is finally letting up. As soon as spring hits I NEED to put a clutch in and get it tuned. Can't wait to hear more about your mods!

I've found 2 different readings about the 4 bolts that mount the LSJ throttle body to the blower. Someone told me M8x1.25x30mm and another says M6x1x30mm

Anyone have some clarification fir me?

Just installed ZZPs 2.5" cat back! It is a night and day difference in tone. I love it! Not to load while cruising, but wakes up when you stab the throttle. I highly recommend it!
