Now that I'm SC'd, what's next?!

Just remember Cooling and clutch first. If you're going to run zzp s3 run the OEM lsj intercooler in line with it. If you dont have the lsj oem intercooler just go all out for their ZZP Stealth intercooler. After you're set there then drop pulley and go with larger injectors. If you're planning on just pump gas 60's probably will handle all your heart desires. If you want to do E85 slap in some 80's.

Geez, I don't think its possible for belt slip on a 3.4. I was checking out your other thread. Def check for a boost leak at either the SC/IM or IM/Head. If your good there then thats all you got. Pulley down. 3.4 will only wow you for about 3 days. Run a 2.9 or... I noticed others said run e85. Quit saying you don't know anything about it and just run it if you have it available and your tuning. It is the cats ass. If you run e85 on your 3.4 it will turn your 3.4 into a 2.9 on 5psi. Like Lance Armstrong on e85 while everyone else is one 93. Comprendo? I know your stock clutch will slip on a 2.9 and e85 though...Just keep the modding fun and as inexpensive as possible.

No haven't hooked up with a tuner, but I haven't really tried hard to meet up with one either.
I have this mindset that I'll buy all the mods I want, then hook up with a tuner and install all mods and get tuned in the same day. I have no idea if that's how it even works.

Is this how my belt is supposed to be run?
Is there a chance that I may have put the belt on incorrectly? Or is that impossible to do.
I think my belt runs from the tensioner, over the top of the idler, to over the SC pulley to down the front side of the AC pulley.
Here's a picture of how I'm running.

Ok so my belt is run correctly then. Now I just need to find out if my belt is loose or not. How much should I be able to move the belt? I'm using the section if belt that spans the SC pulley to the AC pulley towards to forward side of the engine.

That I couldn't tell you. If I were to guess, probably the same as stock. I went and threw my old LE5 belt back on to check the tension(i'm still building) and there's hardly any play in it. You're lucky I just went and did this for you :P I hate belts lol. How much play is in yours?

With light pressure I can move the belt about an inch. This is between the blower pulley and ac pulley on the forward of the engine. With a good amount of force I can move it around 3-4 inches in the same location.

Alright so what's the best way to tighten this belt down? Loosen the tensioner, have someone press down on it as hard as they can and have the other person tighten the bolt for it? Or if I just crank on the bolt, with that tighten the belt down?

Ok well the pic you posted about belt routing is for zzps setup of routing a belt.
You have your belt routed the right way.
From what I can see that looks like a stage 2 belt to me? I'm not sure how the stock belts look like but I know the stage 2 are double sided how yours is

Yeah its a stage 2. I can tell because it has a rib cut off :P unless its a custom belt. The stock LE5 belt only has 1 grooved side, the other is flat. Maybe his tensioner is bad? Or maybe the idler is sitting in the wrong place?
#72
if anything you could just get the belt measured at oriellys and get a new one a smaller size. but yeah tensioner could be bad too. idler sits where our old tensioner was so no way it could be in a wrong place.

Yeah that is very true, good point, I didn't even think about that. I bought a stage 2 belt but I still have the stock pulley. I'm just going to buy the ZZP modular pulley system on Thursday. Maybe a 2.8 pulley. How is your car with the 2.9?
And I appreciate the input you've given the both of us! Thank you

There's your problem...I think lol. Youre running 2 tensioners. Prolly the reason the stage 2 belt even goes on in the first place. You need to get a lsj idler pulley. Replaces le5 tensioner.
