strange i had a bog in my car before vince tuned it NA and he tuned the bog out.. do youhave an exhaust leak maybe? i had that issue too i was running open header so if i shifted and got into low rpms it would suck some balz

 

well when I went to the track before I got there one of the bolts from the header to down pipe fell off so yeah I had a leak.

 

wut did u run before u sced it

 

witha vibrant header I got 15.55 w/o I got 15.7

 

lol i still think i could take u on the track. too bad i dont have the cash.

 

then theres somthing not right u should be hitting a lot of a better time than a 15.2

 

so I did some practice launches right now. Tried different ways... and well here is a list of ways.... oh and one thing when I first attempted and every other try after the rpms wouldn't go passed 2k. Is that normal?

1st try: kept at 1500rpm and let it fly doing some peeling out but tried to keep it to a minimum

2nd try: revved it at 2000rpm and tried going more but stayed there... light turned green and I floored it and the car jumped rolled some then starting going with a some burn out

3rd try: revved at 1800rpm and launched it and the tires peeled then car felt like it wasn't really going that fast then it hit 4k rpm and sputtered than started to fly down the road and got up to 70mph really quick with me trying to keep my head from going into the back of the seat.

 

these were all done in "L" correct?

 

they were done in drive, my TC and ABS lights were on... well they are pretty much on all the time.

 

would me using the LE5 throttle body possibly cause me to run 15.2?

 

doubt it Haza ran with his 2.2 one and it's a 14second car

 

you cant launch very well in drive...drive has traction control Do it in L

 

at the track I did both runs starting in L and then just put it in D after it shifted into 2nd

 

raced zdeuce4 yesterday, and from a dig we stayed even

 

u better hope i dont buy jn2s s/c kit lol.. 5spd ftmfw... tell em about the roll race lol

 

I hope you have an aftermarket clutch, because you wont be saying 5 spd ftw after your clutch goes out the week you get the supercharger on

 

spec stg 3+ sir. after i boost im not gonna run any dig races or at the track till i get it installed.

 

orly.. i has stock clutch if you can know how to drive THIS car the clutch is fine ...

 

nice, you might be the only person to have lasted on stock clutch after going f/i

 

there are 2.2 and 2.4 ions running the same or more hp/trq then i do on stock clutch.. one of them is running over 300 wtrq and high about 280 whp .. they're using nitrous though and i mean 06blackg85ss used his stock clutch for a while at 400 whp

 

yea..but pauls car doesnt count. different tranny/clutch

only cuz i can get in my sweet spot in gear unlike ze auto.. but u got more topend for sure

 

for some unknown reason I couldn't go passed 115mph the other night. Before I could get to 125 and keep going but that doesn't really matter cuz I won't be going that fast lol

so I went to the track tonight cuz I was hoping vince would be able to datalog with me but I couldn't get a hold of him and he never returned my email. so.... I did four runs datalogged and while I type is loading up so I can email them to vince so he can take a look at them.

On the way home the car was doing something it never did before... while cruising at 70mph it seemed the engine was.... lets see how can I describe it.... it was having hic ups I guess would be best way to describe it or... I know this sounds funny but rofl make the sound of a car while its going down the road at a steady speed and then do like your gonna gag. That would be another way to describe it lol.... yeah I know I fail at explaining lol
