Arrow Official 2.4 Turbo Cobalt's - Post if you are turbocharged

I figured since I became the 1st turbo 2.4 on the boards here that more people have become to be turbocharged and we should should have a thread with just turbo 2.4's to discuss whatever turbo related. Post what setup you have whether it be hahn's, another vendor or custom and also post your 1/4 miles and dyno numbers. Should be useful to those thinking about going turbo. Please make this a sticky. Thanks.

2006 Cobalt SS 2.4
Automatic
Hahn racecraft Turbo System
Wheel Horsepower on Mustang dyno: 234
Wheel Torque on Mustang dyno: 244
1/4 mile: 13.7 seconds @ 104 mph

Over the next month my numbers will be going higher and I will update this post with the new numbers.

Everyone else please follow suit.

ehh oh well....me no likey reading sometimes....maybe perhaps 2.4 with the most power? i dont know it doesnt really matter im just happy 2.4's are finally starting to break into their potential. Whish btw, that reminds me. I dont believe any known 2.4 on the board has broken 300whp. i wonder who it will be

ive talked to him a bunch of times and the only major problem i remeber him having was the turbo was defective. after that the kit never made it back on the car. what problems are you talking about?

im not sure on the other issues. i thought i heard him say something about an exhaust leak maybe but there is a pittsburgh cobalt click that he is in and they wont talk to me anymore for unknown reasons.

Just to put to rest the argument of who was 1st turbo charged in the 2.4 community:

The HAHN kit will serve as a base.

Im ordering a significantly larger turbo, that still has great spool up.

I wish the car to be at 450whp-500bhp when im done.

Now, the 2.4's have been pushed over 400hp fine. but i dont feel like givin out thousands for custom 2.4 internals, since i just forked out $7500 for all my other goodies.

looks like with that power you should be the fastest 2.4 on this site. my 300whp wont be able to rival you ha ha!

You gotta figure, im also at a disadvantage over yourself.

You got a coupe :P

Did you ever get your 300whp?

I'll keep modding this car until I blow it up, i'll remove the turbo, then sell the kit, and then trade in my car.

Last night at the drag strip my car was thrashed..i had an easy 200lbs of baby **** in my back seat/trunk that i just left in the car.

I had to throw a blanket over it all, so the techs wouldnt see it and bitch.

im still debating on going with a AEM standalone system so i can tune per psi of boost.

Im tired of drivin in Drive...and if i go into boost it bogs down the car (since the thing kicks up to 70psi at 1psi+)

no, i didnt get to my 300whp goal yet. im waiting on my 60# injectors to come in then I will be hitting the dyno once again and hopefully not having any tuning issues for a long time after that. With 300whp i think i will let it be for a while till i pay the car off then maybe i'll build a monster with the tranny and forged stuff.

Was talking to HAHN. he said 12-14 psi should put us at 290whp.

Did you increase your fuel pressure as well?

he said 12-14 psi should be at 90psi of fuel.

yeah i maxed out my fuel pump on the dyno with my 32# injectors, im putting in 60#'s so hopefully i'll have better results. I should be running 13 psi but with the boost problem i dont know what is gonna happen when i fix it.

I have a friend with a Cobalt SS supercharged, but he is looking to take out the supercharger, and going to turbocharged, and he wants to put out at least 600 hp, can someone help me and lists all the modifications he need to complete this swap and get the horsepower
