The official FullThrottle build thread

I put this in the 2.4 performance section because eventhough I have a redline my short block is a LE5 (just with upgraded components.) Its actually a hybrid engine. its a LE5 short block with a LSJ head. for now im going to be running the lsj supercharger. However, I have a full turbo conversion in the works. my engine isnt in my possession yet but it should be here this friday. the link is from the redline forums so change the address accordingly. change the "Y" to an "I" just thought id share this with you guyshttp://www.redlyneforums.com/forums/...e+build+thread

WOOO HOOOO THE BEAST IS ALIVE ONCE AGAIN. Thanks to Philly938 and a little bit of patience. the fuse block under the hood was a bit loose causing one of the relays to not get a good connection. thats the short end of the story. shes running pretty rough but nontheless she runs

Are you still useing the P12ECM out of your RL or did you convert to the E67?

I'd imagine he'd need the LSJ ECU since he doesn't have VVT...

the Ve is most likly out of whack which is going to cause bad Idle. Also you have to tell the ECM about the increase in displacement.

I'm about 2 Whole steps ahead of ya on that one man. I'm 99.9% sure it is not the VE table.

LONG STORY SHORT as you guys know, my set up is a 2.4 LE5 short block with a LSJ head and intake and supercharger. a F35 trans all the sensors and ECM/BCM from a LSJ (ion REDLINE) I have the engine all buttoned up in the car and i fired it up the only problem is that I have to fether the throttle to keep it running. i checked the cam sensor the crank sensor both of which are good and installed correctly. im still theowing the P0017 DTC Which is Crankshaft/camshaft position corellation sensor B. sensor B references the camshaft sensor which is installed correctly. the cams are installed correctly the crank shaft pulley/balancer is installed correctly. my next big question is I need to find out if the reluctor rings are the same on a 2.0l and 2.4l. I know that they are both 58x with a 12deg reference gap but is the gap in the same place?
