Different tune nd from what PyskoStevo said its much harder then the Cobalt is. There is already an awesome 2.4 Cobalt/G5 tune floating around but the Solstice doesn't have yet.
Thats what I ment, sorry if I wasn't clear.

What is the awesome tune doing in hp gains just trying to find out I also don't want ppl to flame me for the question, But just for an example what do tuning ppl think can be achieved with lets just say a tune in hp. I know that everything adds up but my ? is tune alone lets say it in percentage wise 171 stock should a tune alone give 5% /10% increase
like 8 hp or 17 hp. I havent seen a tune really give that much of a gain to the wheels as of yet. But I do know a tune will give you a constant gain not like an intake that companies claim and ppl jump on buying them when the gain is actually only in a short segment of the power band.

A "proper" tune from someone who knows WFT they are doing on the 2.4 does not need larger injectors!
If the parameters that control PE are addressed properly, the IDC will not exceed safe numbers.
I've seen too many posts by people claiming to be a "tuner" and the resultant problems. I have also seen one of these "tunes" that claim to have the "answer" and I cannot believe what was addressed and how.
Bottom line.... Unless you have done extensive mods to your 2.4, a proper tune will get the factory super rich on the top end in line and IDC's will be fine.
A relatively stock 2.4 2will gain absolutely nothing from a larger injector. The only ones that benefit are those 2.0 S/C people wanting to get rid of their stock injectors.

Benny,
I agree with you about not needing the 2.0 injectors First of all these 2.4 run real rich especially at top end stock. The tuner who did my car said he had to keep pulling fuel there is no way I should even think of putting the bigger injectors in so low and behold I have a set I won't be using for a while. So why put larger injectors in a car that is properly tuned where fuel had to be pulled from the start and add even more fuel and have to start all over again. The only thing he said Is their is a bunch of ppl that are jumping on the injectors thinking more fuel more timing I should really make some HP or my injectors are maxed out I need the bigger injectors. All I can say is get the car tuned right with the stock injectors and ask your tuner about the injectors duty it will be way less than it was stock...

obviously a stock-ish 2.4 wont benefit from larger injectors alone. i dont know who said that.
these injectors are for those 2.4 people who have alot of N/A mods such as intake, header, exhaust, cams, raised redline, and or nitrous.
