To owners of a jetchip module

Has anyone with the jet chip module tried dynoing or testing their car at a track to see if it really helped yet?

Haven't made it to the track yet and I'm not going to put my Cobalt on a dyno (did it with an auto 2.2 and it wasn't fun). I'm pleased with the butt-dyno results so far and would buy it again.

Am I correct in assuming you have the stage 2 module?

No I have a custom tune from tune time. I'm just curious cause i'm thinking about a chip for my wife's cobalt or maybe their reprogrammed maf sensor. I wanted to get a feel for other people's experience with jet's cobalt products. I had jet reprogram my neon computer and although it felt faster in the butt dyno department on the dyno and at the track it did nothing. Tried their stage two chip and it made my car misfire and run poorly. But with everyone who has chip talking about how great it is I'm considering giving them another chance. Just wanted some feed back from people who have purchased one.

I see that one person voted that they weren't happy with the chip I was wondering if you could tell me some more

polls are not the best way to get information. There are owners who actually hate Jet Chip modules and think everybody should just get a tune; so they post a negative answer but have no information to offer.

I hate it when people vote and leave no info.

Hey guys... I don't know if you have seen my other thread, but it looks so far that the module doesn't fit on the 2.2's.

the setup is different for the ECU and the plugs are side by side which is not allowing clearance for the long side of the module. To top that off, the plastic around the connectors is too thick and the plugs don't fit over it.

I contact Jet Chip and Jegs about the issue and I am looking for resolution.

I'll keep you guys informed.

Maybe we should start a Jet Chip Module alliance. We can fight off the damn haters. If any of you are close to me in either RI or NY hit me up. I should have my interceptor soon. Maybe we can use that for a before and after. That was my intention.

I saw the thread you're referring to. I'm not sure what the problem is -- my 06 LS ECM was the same as my 07 2.4 ECM -- was his an '05?
