Peeps with bad mab shorty and zzp 2.5" downpipe check in
Just making sure everything will bolt right up to my 2.5" slp Catback? How do you guys with this combo like it? How does it sound? Any advice/opinions appreciated

Yes it will bolt up fine, I would suggest not buying zzp gaskets and instead get one from the dealer. I like mine now that it's on, it was a bitch tho cuz the header leaked very badly and even the replacement one did. Luckily I'm a student with access to a full machine shop so I fixed it pretty easily.
Other than that I love how the combo sounds and can definitely feel the improvement it made. You'll be happy with it

Well it has to sound better than my current setup...Pacesetter with Exhaust Depot catless and stock LSJ cat-back.
I have the bad-mab header and ZZP 2.5" catted sitting in the garage waiting to be installed...bought them last summer, but I'm trying to find a cat-back I want first...would like to find a GMPP/Corsa Touring, but since I probably won't, I will probably get ZZP's 2.5" cat-back or have my local shop fab one up that's similar to that if it's cheaper.
Can't wait to get rid of the rasp.

I know the thread is months old, but I figured I would just update that yesterday I took my car to a DIY garage with a lift and spent all day fixing my car.
Upgraded to an FE5 front sway bar plus bushings/clamps/end links , replaced wheel bearing, replaced strut top mounts, and re-tightened my rear Street bar. Also swapped from Pacesetter header and Exhaust Depot DP to the Bad-Mab and ZZP 2.5 that I've had in the garage for a year.
OH MY GOD, I LOVE THE SOUND. I have the LSJ cat-back and the sound at idle is so quiet. Rev it and it gets loud, but not obnoxious at all. Acceleration isn't raspy at all and WOT is very similar to before, but a little better tone.
It is 1000 times better because I don't have to worry about leaks like I did with the Pacesetter, there's no rasp because I went catted vs the old catless. It is SO worth the money for sound alone. I can't tell if the performance is different at all, but I love it.
Side note, with the car before working on it, I was so not happy and wanted to ditch it for something new. Now that I have no clunks/rattles, and a new front sway, the car handles so much better as well and I couldn't be happier with the car again. I look forward to a few more years with this car before getting something new.

Then again, when i had the badmab and zzp catted 2.5 i also had a corsa touring. everything sounded good with a stock dp but not the zzp. i probably had crazy leaks though.

I dont want to start a whole new thread to ask which options I need...
So from ZZP, I want the 2.5in Catted
option1 auto
option2 highflow
option3 ?? I have a 2.4L
addon1 yes (but I saw someone else says that ZZP's gaskets weren't good..?)
addon2 sure but will some places give me cash for one??
thanks

The option 3 gives u the option to add the extra o2 bung for the wideband. You don't need it unless you plan to use a wideband. I got the extra o2 bung so I could get tuned with the wideband. And when ur not using the extra one you can just put a bung plug there. Any local exhaust shop should have them.
