Peeps with bad mab shorty and zzp 2.5" downpipe check in
#26
What is it you're asking...what you should pick for options?
I have a 2.2, I went with:
Auto
High Flow
Wideband and o2 bungs
Front and Rear gaskets
Label
Like I said, I'm a 2.2 with numerous bolt-ons. I'm using the Bad-Mab header. I have it connected to the LSJ cat-back right now.
I went with both bungs...2.2 so needed that one...wideband because I may go SC in the future...in the meantime I have a plug in there. For you, you don't need either, but if you want to use a Wideband ever, I suggest just having it put in and getting a plug for now. I figured that even if I don't go SC, down the road if I sell it, I might have a larger amount of interest from someone who's looking to go SC.
I had a Pacesetter header and catless Exhaust Depot DP before....RASPY....cat is a must for me.
I bought both gaskets...they are cheap. Honestly, I probably wouldn't get them again. When I bought the Pacesetter header way back when, I used a copper gasket for the header...I wanna say SCE was the brand. Anyway...I didn't use that this time around, but I should have. I got a pair of gaskets with the Bad-Mab header as well and I used the ones that came with that for the header to head and header to DP...for the DP to cat-back I used the one from ZZP. I think when I feel like it later, I will re-install the copper gasket on the header and will probably get a better gasket for the DP to CBE when I replace the cat-back with aftermarket.
Label is up to you...no charge for it...if you use it, you get a credit for $50, but have to return the stock piece within 30 days (maybe 60)....I forgot all about it and never used it...later I asked and they said I would have to pay to ship it to them, but they would give me the $50 credit...would have cost $25-30 to ship I believe...so I sold it locally for $30. Guy just turned around and scrapped it for more...I wanted it gone and didn't care...you should probably be able to get around $50-60 depending on scrap prices for it if you want or might be able to sell it on here to someone with a 2.2.
Hopefully this is the info you wanted and it helps.

And actually, I'm tuned so I don't even need the 2.2 bung, but I would rather it just be there since I have the sensor.
You don't need the Wideband for tuning specifically. You really only need it if you're planning on going SC or building your engine NA and will be using a wideband for watching AFR.
My car is tuned with Trifecta and with the data logging I did, Vince was able to see my AFR's and adjust the tune as needed (which for me wasn't even required since it was a basic tune with basic bolt-ons).

You don't need it for tuning but it's better to use so ur tuner can read all ur ratios and get it precise and perfect. That's why my tuner told me to get the extra bung so he could use his wideband

Again...for a basic tune...you won't get anything extra out of it...believe me...there's no real fine tuning on a car that is NA and has basic bolt-ons at most...but I'm not against getting the Wideband bung as I mentioned, I did just in case.

Like I said...header to head gasket...you might want to get the SCE copper gasket...the Bad-Mab may leak or it may not...mine doesn't yet, but I spent the money on the SCE so I will re-use it.
You can find a 2-bolt 2.5" gasket for the DP to cat-back relatively cheap that's better than what ZZP offers, but theirs is OK.
For the header to DP gasket, I used the Bad-Mab and had no problem with it. I have both the ZZP and bad-mab and decided to try the Bad-Mab one...I may try the other one later if I have a problem with leaks.

I just got a bad mab header and im going to get the zzp dp next. my question is in the product description it says the collector is 3" do i need the 3" dp or can i go 2.5" to so i can keep my 2.5" corsa catback.
#38
You can do one of two things...get the 2.5" DP or you can get the 3" DP and get it with a 2.5" out to bolt up to your Corsa with no problems. You may want to search around for some answers as to which is the better choice depending on what you have done or what your future plans are. Or contact ZZP directly and ask them which might be the better option for you now or in the future.

It will all bolt up and work fine. But it will be VERY LOUD and RASPY!
Trust me I have the zzp shorty header and with either the CTI downpipe or the ZZP downpipe (both of which were catted)with the SLP catback. Its loud as hell!
My apartment has the carport under the porch and if your standing on the porch you can feel the vibrations from the car through your feet!

Mine is decently loud, but only under WOT...Badmab header, ZZP catted 2.5 DP, LSJ cat-back (stock exhaust)...wanted to go aftermarket but don't want it louder than it is...considering ZZP's cat-back.
Then again, I'm hoping to buy a new car come spring/summer (Sonic RS most likely, but have a few other cars in my sights as well...Buick and Mazda) so I don't know how much I want to put into the Cobalt since it will become my winter beater.
