I had periods of low power but most of the time it would be fine. I had a misfire CEL once but it did not come back when I cleared it. The car would also have horrible fuel economy where I usually averaged 28 and it shot down to 22. The exhaust also sounded like a WRX or some tuner when I got on the throttle. 500 bucks later and It ran fine.

P0171, P0455 bad evap/big leak?
the misfire = plugs?
I never got p0013 but I got p0010/11. I had bad intake solenoid and map sensor.

thats all what im thinking thus far, several of those codes can be wiped out with replacing the VVT solenoids, scariest thing on there is the TB. I have a LS1 throttle body at my disposal but the question is do they make an adapter plate for it.
and i think the bigger question is, why would the computer indicate mil status off with all these codes

So i received some more parts for repairs this morning, first up was the gauge cluster assembly. So i proceeded to start taking the dash apart, and as i got to the gauge cluster, as soon as i took the screws out for it, the whole cluster fell in half LOL as the cluster fell in half, all these little wads of paper started falling out from behind the faceplates.... lmao these people actually stuffed old receipts in the little holes where the LED's are for the check engine light and traction control light.
So I did some more inspection and i was happy to see that nothing else had been cut or damaged, aside from missing several bolts and screws in certain areas.
I proceeded to install the new supercharged 06 cluster assembly, and wala! All my gauges were back to normal, the new cluster picked up the old mileage off the ECU or BCM (who knows which one) and i had my check engine light and traction control light back.
So i repaired the old cluster, and now im going to go ahead and clean and resell that one now that I know its fully functional.
I also did the spark plug change today, props to ac delco for having plugs that could withstand 127,000 miles, they still had some ground strap and tip left. ROFL gonna take some pics of those too, car idles beautifully now with the new plugs. Next week will be the VVT solenoids and such.

how do you fix the needles? I broke the needles on my original cluster and they like wouldn't tell me mph or something. If I could fix it thatd be cool cuz I could led swap all of it and sell it lol
#65
turn the needle all the way to zero unti you feel it stop, pull the needle up (all they do is slide on) reset it to 0 on the gauge, slide the needle back on, make sure it stops at zero

yeh it has the code for running lean, i installed a new master lock switch today and now my security system goes haywire when i unlock the door with my key, doesnt do it if you manually lock the car, only if you use the button. Then i have to cycle the key to get the alarm to stop going off.
also threw codes B2AAA and B2A00

knockin things off the too do list, picking up a delphi map sensor tomorrow putting that in, variable valve timing solenoids should be here on saturday, had a new keyfob programmed at the dealer for 53 bucks today. Now i can actually get in the car without setting the alarm off. Gotta double check to see if it has remote start, didnt even think to check it when i bought the keyfob. It does have heated seats so im wondering if the remote start was part of that package.
Once all that is wrapped up i should be able to get an inspection done soon and get a baseline at the track.

welp, found my P1174 problem today, fuel filter was clogged completely shut, when it popped off all black **** came pouring out of the "in" side. I just hope that **** hasnt made its way to my fuel injectors. Im gonna be dumping redline fuel injector cleaner in there for a good few months to come.
#75
I should prolly look into replacing my fuel filter also.....and maybe some injector cleaner...I hear e85 is supposed to gum stuff up and make you replace these things like 1k miles in
hows the car running now?
