Feels awesome, although I haven't jammed on it too hard but a 2500RPM launch with basically no hop at all. And that's at the stock setting if I stiffin it up it'll probably all be gone. So all in all a good mod for the money.

I heard it stiffins up the ride a lot, you hear a lot more vibrations in the passenger compartment, and that it is really only for the track. Do you think it still feels ok and doesn't send a lot of vibrations? I am contemplating getting one.

You can feel it in the cab a bit....it would probably be more if you stiffend it up to 10mm....As for cabin vibrations my buddy didn't notice it but as it is my car I can tell that it's alot stiffer. but it's not anything crazy... I had solid motor mounts in my last car and the thing rattled and vibrated like crazy...this is nowhere near that.

bump, thread revival !
i just purchased this for my 2.4
i see that it is very close to the intake tube (based on the pictures)
I have a Rebel intake. It goes straight from the throttle body to the 90 degree bend down to the fender; so it doesn't have that extra bend that the Injen intake has at the front of the car to go around the radiator hose.
Will it touch my intake tube??
Also, what's the best setting to keep it at for a daily driver? 13mm?

It looks like it might JUST fit. But I found that the intake sounds louder (assuming that means better airflow) when I take the box out, and just attach the filter to the pipe. So if anything if I get one of these, I guess I can just do that. I only really keep it on for the dealer, other wise I leave it off.

I dunno with the box it feels like my engine is suffocating at W0T compared to when I take it off. Is there a way I can get just the heat shield from a K&N to use? Or is there maybe something else I might be able to use? I know my best bet is another intake, but I don't want to spend 200-250 on another intake.
