Please help!!!!

When ever i give my car gas it sounds like a bycicle with a aluminium can on the back tire, the noise sounds like its under the hood.I took it to the dealership and the machanic there said he heard the noise but said theres nothing wrong with it. Now im not a mechanic but i felt like that was the dumbest statement ive ever heard.

Check for loose parts like heat shields, exhaust leaks. Maybe just something vibrating at certain engine rpms

He didn't say what he thought the noise might be?

No actually I never even saw the mechanic in person. The mechanically told the lady at the front desk where I filled out all the paperwork that , and she told me.

Maybe a broken flex piece on the downpipe?

Would either of those be visible without taking everything apart. And does any body have any good links or pics of where the heat shield is so I can check it too

Damn good chance its the flex section/pipe mentioned above. Someone had the same sound and thats what it turned out to be, even described it the same way.

Look over the back of the engine. The silver cover you see is the heat shield. Just above that you see the header and downpipe connection. The flex pipe is the short ribbed section.

ZZPerformance - 2.5 inch Stainless Cobalt/Ion Downpipe #ZZ-E25DP

Option 1: (Auto or Manual)
Option 2: High Flow Cat
Option 3: none
Add On: Add Front and Rear Gaskets
Add On #2: prepaid label for cat return

There's all your options you need. It'll help a little with performance and is way cheaper than any replacement.

The P0175 is a Running Rich Code While the bank is to low is a running Lean error..
I get that as well sometimes..when the light came on..did you notice any changes in the car and how it was running? Examples: lack of power on acceleration and some "coughing" or misfiring.

No, nothing new anyways. Same noises that I described in OP. Could the problems go hand in hand. Could the light come on for an exhaust leak.
