Please help. Need a good but simple Supercharger for G5

Hey. I want to put a supercharger on my Pontiac G5. Right now it's all stock. Running a 2.4L LE5 with automatic transmission. I am not a mechanic and don't have my own garage but I do work on my car myself so I can put in a relatively simple kit.

I don't know anything about superchargers, or turbo, or much of anything performance related.

If you can suggest a good kit and how to go about the whole thing I would appreciate it.

Thanks.

ZZP would prolly be the best "complete" kit.

You could just piece together your own kit which would come out to be alot cheaper than buying the kit new from zzp. The install on these is pretty simple. You only need a few tools nothing major.

Awesome, thanks. Looks like it needs a tune, and it's a little pricey at $2600. I didn't expect it to be that much.

Unhappy

tune, and clutch. and modding a car is anything but cheap lol. might wanna get a new hobby.

ZZP makes great stuff, and they really are the cheapest. Piecing together a kit, is cheaper, but custom kits, have custom problems. ZZP also can give you a tune.

I've always wondered why someone would buy a NA car then later on want to spend money to supercharge or turbocharge it when it would of been cheaper and less hassle to of bought one all ready boosted stock.

Cant say for other guys, but for me personally, when it came down to "add to cart" on the zpp website and the $5000k, i could of sold my 2.4 NA and bought a LNF, which would of been less power, but given me a much eassier time to "grow" and build for the future....

but

i decided against it, because there is ALLWAYS a better car, i and realized i like the process/journey of it modding instead of just haveing a better/faster car. I could of got a used early year C5 corvette for the price of LNF cobalt/selling my 2.4 +turbo kit money. hell there are some restored 70s muscle for sale around here for 10-15k

and im the kind of guy who gets attached to his car, so even if for all purposes it would be cheaper/easier/better to buy just a better car, i wouldnt/couldnt sell it.

and besides, WE ALL KNOW THE 2.4 LE5 HAS AN ARMREST AND HEATED SEATS WHICH IS WHY ITS TEH BESTEST CERBALT EVER MADEE!!!1111!!!eleven
