My insurance right now is at 160 a month, my record is clean now because i have gotten lucky and away with everything under the sun.(knock on wood)
When i first got my ss/sc it was like 200 for insurance and i was 19, by the time of the accident with it i was at 140 i think i cant really remember though so don't quote me.

The SS/SC actually gets better gas mileage then the 2.4L, I've witnessed it.

My insurance on the car is high. Before i added my ranger to my insurance I was paying $1300 every 6 months. Now with my ranger added i'm paying $800 every 6 months. No that's not a typo either.... My record must be the big factor, so when they thought I was driving the car less they lowered my insurance.

Thanks all for the support.

I'm going to down to the dealership tomorrow and it's looking pretty good IMO.

I didn't get the car because they were trying to rip me off bad.

They 1st claimed that I could get an 08 Cobalt new for around $10000, when they're selling an 07 LS with more mileage than my car for $13000 As shown here

http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...ce=&cardist=13

Next, the salesman tried to determine my monthly payment with even telling me what interest rate he used. He didn't even submit it to the bank saying that he done it for years, yet he didn't use an interest rate in his calculation of a monthly payment(Both were pure ripoffs BTW).

Lastly he tried to tell that my car is only worth $9000 when the price of it was around $15000 something when I bought last Oct. He based that off what he said about 08 Cobalts on sale for around $10000.(Bullshit)

Once again, thanks for the support all.

I don't see any other cars that I'm interested in at the moment.

I'm thinking about selling my car privately now as I could get decent money for it.

Exactly. Sell it and start fresh. Anyone will come down if you've got cash in hand and you're ready to spend it.

The only problem is that I have a loan on it at the moment. It'll be a bitch to work everything out.

Starting fresh is the idea, and unlike last year my credit is good.
