questions for boosting a 2.4L
Ok first i don't know where to put this thread, here because is a 2.4 or in force induction. but anyways here are the questions
1.how much oil is going to be needed for a the 2.4 turbo?
reason why; because i read in the manual of the car it says that the sc uses approx 2qts more than the N/A
2.same question for the coolant; how much coolant will the car need if the car is going to be intercooled, and what kind of coolant well be used (same one as oem).
Thank you
I try to search, but couldn't found nothing, if someone can advise me or point me in the right direction, I would appreciate it.

if you're going to turbo your car I would recommend getting the oil pan from the sc so that way it has the extra capacity
coolant isnt specific .. if it's a water to air cooler then that depends on the volume of the cooler
if ti's an air to air then you use the standard amount. it really all depends on your setup.. you dont need the lsj oil pan either ..
but you dont need more of either cuz youre boosted

No more oil will be used if you turbo it.
Unless like said you change oil pans.
The intercooler coolant is seperate from the engine colant,
and if I recall it took about a gallon and a half of coolant.
