and that's what I love so much. I need a reason to go lower with the pulley, so with a quieter exhaust, I want to have something to hear. And I got like two weeks left.

Interesting test

Super Turbo definitely doesn't flow 550CFM

It does have low db though, so that's good.

I still can't decide on a muffler

You could just buy mine off me....they say the TURBO exhaust is pretty much the GMPP exhaust anyway.

It is 2.5" Outer Diameter

https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/parts-66/09-ss-tc-cat-back-exhaust-%2Afeeler%2A-193325/

Its from a TC, so you would have to switch out the bolt up to the cat...(SC/NA is 2, TC are 3bolt). You will also have to weld the muffler back onto the piping so that you can get it onto the car without removing your rear suspension.

PM me if your interested and we'll figure out a way to ship it to ya.

The SS t/c exhaust is not the GMPP exhaust at all. lol Nor a direct Dynomax Super Turbo style system..

Hell, all of the miles on my system were basically from me. And it was in the Northeast it's whole life with the salt and such.. If you go for the Performance, it will wear out the packing very quickly (since there's less) and be quite loud. But supposedly the Touring stays mellow for awhile longer..

Jesus Christ. lol Even if it IS quiet initially, it likely won't be for long. But hey, you paid 40 bucks for two mufflers. lol

well, the mufflers i had before were the same price and they were straight thru magnaflow. i got these thrush turbos on because i heard alot of good things about them. it really shut my car up FINALLY

now, i just need to slap a glasspack where i have a 4" round magnaflow.... and the slight raspyness will go away.

too bad the guy who welded my mufflers sucks. i hate these lil mescan shops around here. none of em are worth a crap when welding.

That's good info, but it doesn't show all the configs of the super turbo, just the 2.5" inlet/outlet center/offset flow numbers.

There are different size super turbo mufflers that could affect the overall flow. I'm sure a 2.5" inlet/outlet offset/offset and smaller oval tube isn't going to flow the same as the 3" inlet/outlet center/center bigger round tube even though it's the same turbo muffler design. See what I mean?

Just ordered a Mandrel Exahust Systems 2.5" catback with 18" resonator and they are substituting the loud muffler with a Dynomax Super Turbo

mandrel is pretty good. You might have some fitment issues but theres a guy on here that got one and it pretty sweet for the price.

Yeah, I would have bought the 3" but i'm not trying to break any records and I also own a home. More money for house mods. House mods are smarter than car mods I'll get a video once I get it and put it on.

anyone want to buy a flowmaster 40 series from me because that bitch is too loud lol. or trade= cash for a magnaflow? PM me.

flowmaster is NOT the way to go for quiet. well i don't really mind loud but since i'm catless it makes my car raspy around 2500 RPMs other then that it's fine. but when i had stock header/dp on it sounded so badass, oh and i deleted the stock resonator so i have like no restriction what so ever. i have a resonator coming in wednesday that i ordered off summitracing for like 29 bucks shipped.

Well Mandrel Exhaust Systems emailed me this morning

"The body on the Super Turbo will not fit with the application we have... I just got a list of Part Numbers now and found there is a variance...

However, the Dynomax (Model: Ultra Flo) will work fine.

To be honest, we have used both models in the past... and preferred the Ultra Flo much more than the Super Turbo... You can check out specs also... the Ultra Flo has better gains and controls volume much better.

Let me know if this is okay.. the system should ship on Monday."

I find it hard to believe the super turbo "wont fit", but it looks like I'll have to go with the Ultra Flo
