haha, no, no valve covers. But yeah man, I couldnt be happier. I dated her once before and was way into back then......but then made an irrational decision to get back with Courtney, and ended up dumping Andrea for Courtney a few years ago. But as luck would have it........we somehow found each other again, and im just so much happier with her all around than I ever was Courtney. But im off to bed man, later.

ya i've made a few stupid mistakes like that as well. the last girl i was starting to get serious with ended up playing some mind games and then screwin around with a good friend of mine and then had the guts to get mad at me when i told her i wanted to see other people lol. we still talk and wish she hadn't have done that but oh well. anyways have a good one im heading to bed here as well. got to work early.

The plastic cover has two jobs. The first is to quiet the cam and valve noise. The second is to help hold the heat in the engine for longer to reduce cold starts. It is NOT helpful to remove it. If your cooling system is doing it's job your engine temp will be exactly regulated. If it is getting too hot then there are other problems. As ugly as they are these plastic covers do serve a purpose.
It does look nice without it though!

took it off the day i bought it (regina, sask) and went through the coldest of cold days (-53* windchill) and i was fine. hell, i threw on an ntake halfway through winter and im STILL fine lol

If you live in a hot area it probably won't make any difference but removing it really isn't a plan for solving overheating. Your cooling system opens and closes the thermostat as needed.
So don't worry too much if you remove it but it was there for a reason.
