Saab 9-3 Turbo Set-Up?

Hey guys,

Anyone ever run a Saab 9-3 turbo kit on their car? Not necessarily every single piece, but used it as a basis.. I was just wondering how that'd work out price-wise next to an aftermarket turbo kit.. Performance isn't a huge deal for now as it can always be upgraded later..

Essentially a de-tunes LSJ/LNF mix..

Thanks!

What would you need? Essentially just the intake manifold, turbo, piping, etc? Then just get HPT done like you got a ZZP turbo kit? I mean, I've never looked into turbo-ing ANYTHING before, so I'm new to it, but I just wanted to see IF it could be done first..

So, in other words, yes? Anything that you know would need to be done? I'd rather go turbo than supercharged..

That's what I heard.. Do you know if the stock 2.0T Saab set-up is intercooled with a BOV or is it non-intercooled with the (whatever else is used instead of a BOV).. I'd want to run intercooled with BOV..

i'm sure they use a bypass valve like most factory turbo setups.... and I do believe they are intercooled as well

I'd probably just go aftermarket. Stock GM turbochargers are almost too small.
