SAI??2007 2.4ss auto
Sai Or no Sai looking at headers and the cobaltpp website has a custom header and it says it doesnt support the sai. I was told I dont have on but on their site they insist all 2.2s and 2.4 07s have them yet someone onhere said nay. Need somemore anwsers

I dont think that any of the 2.4 had SAI... the simplest way to find out, is look under the hood and see if there is an extra tube going from the airbox to the header

its ok, i only know b/c i just recently researched my 2.4 b/c i bought a header/dp...
What header are you looking at? i got the ZZ Performance midlength header/dp combo

was looking a cobalt vibrant 421 stainless steal header at cpp but Not real seriouse about that one. Hows ur combo working, I seen that one and now that Im understanding how this stuff works alot better sounds like a better buy

i haven't put it on yet, b/c i ordered a Catback exhaust also, ill probably put it on this weekend...

basically the even more increased noise outweighed the <2hp that i would gain from going catless.

in other words, if you crud it up too fast, you'll make it less efficient and it will fail early.
i'd say, if you install a new one, let the car run for at LEAST 10 minutes at idle to warm up, the drive it (under 3000rpm) for about a half hour. then let it cool all the way before driving again.
after it cools is a great time to re-torque the bolts.
