saw a 08 sport today

Here's a couple of pics taken from chevrolet.com:
It appears as though it doesn't even have a Sport badge on the side, and the one on the trunk is very subtle. Plus, this is now being described as the high profile spoiler:
"Add to the aerodynamics of your Cobalt with this available, dealer-installed spoiler. It's the same one you'll find on the Sport. Or, make a more subtle statement with the low-profile rear spoiler (not shown). Available in four colors or primed to paint."
......So I'm just all confused...

I've tried Marin007, but these are the only pics of a 2008 Sport I've been able to find. It's a pity they're not larger, but the Chevrolet Canada website is still showing pics of the 2007, and Edmunds is passing off pics of a 2005 as an '08!
It's really pathetic how little these pictures are updated...

I bet it dosent have a nifty badge on the interior trim either.
Typical GM......rather than redesigning an aged design (hell, Subaru redesigns their Impreza/WRX every 2 years, lol) they just re-badge instead......

Can anyone find out the part number for the badge. I tried calling the dealer parts department and they basically told me to F off and find them a part number. I dont know where to look. Any ideas?

The sport coupe now comes with ebony seats with the red inserts as well. I think now chevy is trying to directly compete with the scion tC.
Also, cna anyone find a close pic of that badge?

Yeah, but its lame that GM is taking a current car (2.4SS), re-rabadging it and trying to pass it off as something new.
3-4 years is a while bro. Look at all the other sucessful cars that had their image revamped within 3 years or less. Examples such as Impreza/WRXs, RSX, Civics, Tiburons, Lancers......all have at least cosmetic changes such as a diff front facia (3rd gen Tiburons had diff front facias from 03-04 than 05-06, but same body style) or headlights/tailights (like the diff between 03-04 Civics from 05-06 Civics, once again, same body style) within 3-4 years. The Cobalt is merely getting some new badging. Whoopee. People like change, and people like Cobalts, so people would likely like an ever changing Cobalt. Just my 2 cents.

Yep, it's practically impossible getting a part for your car that wasn't stock when you bought it after the fact. Give it a few months and I bet they'll have them on eBay.

Sport Badge
I saw a Sport Sedan at the dealership today and i really did think it looked kinda funny. Maybe its just cause i like the SS badge and history better than sport...or maybe its just that i think SS "sounds" faster than sport lol. All it is is a badge that says sport, with a red, stylized "s" at the beginning. Kinda disappointing for me...but hey, the General knows best right?
