so the cars in the shop....

and i have to admit im worried as hell...i guess its just knowing your leaving your car for a few days with people you dont even know...

im having:
downpipe made with dumptube plumbed in
oil return fitting welded into the pan
ic mounting plate welded onto the ic

im just hoping they do a good job and it doesnt cost anymore than 450-500...i dont want to pay alot for all that to be done...what do you all think all thatl run?

lol...thats why i do all my own work!!!! letting another guy wrench on your car is like letting another man mess with your girl....you just dont!

yea but when you dont have the equipment to do then thats a big issue

lol yea the guy seemed pretty nice...how much do you think those few things will cost to have done? im thinking the labor will probably kill me

idk....it just seems like a little bit of welding...i wouldnt pay more than 300 bucks for labor (not including any parts)

yea thats what i was thinking...i dont think it should take more than a half hour or a little more to weld the ic plate on....as for the dp thatl take a while...and hel also have to drop the pan and weld the fitting in

i dont have the money to put out to buy welding equipment.....and it would get retarded test fitting the pipe and then have to make a half hour trip just to get some one to weld it and hope it fits right...

Thats my problem. The other problem is that I don't have room for any equipment. I just got a little rusty old tool box.

You didn't get a written quote?? Just cause they seem nice don't mean ****.. I can be nice too and then screw you later on.. Now I'd be worried cause they may have you over a barrel for a price..

The only work I do to my car is boltons cuz even I have a hard time screwing that up. otherwise im mechanicly retarted.... good luck hope it comes out good

its hard to put a price on it when they didnt even look to see what htey were getting into yet.....**** all theyre supplying is a couple feet of piping, a flange, a hi flow cat and some welding

its hard to even put a quote on that...i asked the guy that and he said its hard to do until he sees what hes getting into

well i just got done talking to the guy in the shop and he said that they had the turbo on the car to get an idea of what all has to be done...and he also told me that the turbo fit like a charm, so thats good news.
