So disappointed in my Corsa...
So I have a corsa touring exhaust and it sounds soo loud and high pitched. Anyone have any thoughts on a muffler that low and deep?
Someone suggested a flow master muffler for it, any thoughts on that as well?

search user "rwl041" on youtube for my cav exhaust vids. Especially the launch and fly by. LSJ pacesetter header, magnaflow high flow cat, 18" glasspack type resonator and dynomax super turbo muffler with 2.5" pipe. Its stock-ish whan cruising, deep and mild at part throttle acceleration, and you can hear the WOT sound in the vids.
On an LE5 this set up may even sound a smidge deeper...

Right now I have a vibrant header and d/p combo along with the whole corsa exhaust (resonator and muffler) I'm probably gunna try and just replace the muffler. It's sooo ridiculous high pitched, a real ricey tone to it =(

while no one can dispute the fact that vibrant is a top notch piece in terms of build quality, I feel that it's near the bottom of the list in terms of sound.

only time im dissapointed with my corsa was when i put on that piece of **** dp made by CA. it sounded awesome until i added that. lol
but i have the sport. so i never thought it would be quiet.

you need a real header, not the lsj one. That should tone it down believe it or not.

and which header you suggest? i'm only a 2.2 so i don't want to loose too much backpressure. unless it doesnt matter. i've seen so many arguments over too much flow is bad and that backpressure is good. i dont know who to believe anymore. lol

What ever you do DO NOT get a flowmaster or any chambered muffler as stated before . I had a chambered muffler on my old SS for as long as it took to get 1/2 way down the street and back . It was ugly
