so i finally dyno'd
me n my buddy went to tag racecraft this afternoon and got my car on the dyno, FINALLY!!
i had 3 runs, and the best was 166.3whp and 163.3wtq, not bad for now, but i do feel the need for speed so im gonna have to get it faster. i was also informed that i had 3 degrees of knock, i forget at what rpm, i was also told that my injecters were running at 106% duty. i didnt even know you could surpass 100% but i know thats not very good at all.
anyway, those guys at tag are cool as ****, i ended up meeting Jon, the guy with the ss/sc that had his turbo put in and his car sounds soooo sickk, makes me wanna put a turbo on mine

i had tons of knock.
tag tunned it, fixed er up nice
couldnt get rid of the smallest bit of knock, took the jbp mount off, put the stocker back on, knock is gone.
that mount is just too damn hard.

put the stock one back in.
the vibes are casuing the sensor to pick up false knock.
the car will still pull timing.
you dont want that.
tag is coming out with ways to correct some wheel hop issues with braces that wont bend and mounts that wont vibe the heck outta your car, thats what im waiting for.
i have the poly control arm bushings.
those help tons with wheel hop.

lol commercial for my car is on right now lol... see i thought the mount was supposed to help and it did, til i modded the car, but if its gonna cause harm maybe i should pull it of, get some slighty larger injectors and a good tune

all the mount is doin is causing your knock sensor to detect false knock.
as to why yer running lean and yer IDC's are over 100 are a mystery to me...
and if you need stock ss sc injecters, i can hook you up if youd be interested

dont worry about numbers anyway
worry about track times.
take the mount off and get poly control arm bushings if they will work on the 2.4.
you will notice that much much more than the mount
im getting axles eventually plus a few other goodies tag comes out with.

if you want to hit the 170 mark you wanted...get a downpipe. That should free up around 10 more hp and there ya go...also don't forget the GMPP Manifold won't give you as much gain as an actual Header.

i redline at 6800rpm, 21whp gain? thats pretty good for me then, thanks guys
