I have to agree, everyone owns a mustang or corvette. I could buy a nice corvette for less than I paid for my cobalt, but I chose the 'balt. May be new with problems to fix, but they are amazing cars overall. It's nice to never run into another SS, other than that one G5 GT, but I smoked him I have seen ONE other SS in my area, but it was parked. Only other one I've seen in my color, but they had cloth and all the basic stuff.

I drove the silver SS .... pretty nice, peppy for an auto (mine will be 5spd.) I'm gunna wait till the srpring though, no sense in letting the road salt destroy a brand new car when I have a truck to get me through the winter. Oh and I'm in East Northport.

Who's your salesman? Sounds like your getting a sweet deal.

I'm in a similar situation as you then, I got into an acident w/ a DWI driver in my senior year of highschool. Anyway like I said I plan on getting some kind of cobalt ss sometime after the snow stops falling... I'm thinking march or april. I def will have to come chill, so I'll keep your username and drop you a PM when I get my car. I'm not going to be crazy with the tuning and street racing, nothing more than some bolt ons. (I like warantees lol) Right now im in my second year at Farmingdale but plan to transfer to Stony Brook next year. How bout you? Are you in college or still in Highschool?

*EDIT* I just added you to my buddy list, hopefully you will be getting a PM from me come springtime... the wait is killing me

I have planned the same exact mods as you haha. Do they happen to tune or are we gunna have to send out? It would be nice to have it done locally.

its all done locally. his shop is rite over bayshore road in deer park. yeah im findin out some info about the car with usin HPtuners. Kenny has only done really 2.0's there. so most likely ill be the first 2.4 to be tuned there. so im find out info bout it for him. plus il be auto and im gonna make the shifts really tight so its moves nicely. the VVT is gonna make a real good difference when tuned. yeah im gonna go with

Cobalt Addiction Intake(im gonna be the first one with it on most likely)( i was gonna have it on my 2.2 until it got wrecked, so i gotta sit down with kenny when i get my car and figure that out)
GMPP Header
Cobalt Addiction 2.5 High Flow Downpipe
GMPP Performance Exhaust
HPTuners
Possibly Bigger injectors..and yep thats bout it

but kenny can get all that stuff and he def has the best prices. and havin him local is awesome. plus we have so many guys that are knowlegable about this car, so its awesome. trust me you will have fun...once u get it.
