I am using the Autolites too. They are only one step colder, but that should be all we need. I gapped mine to .29

As per the Beck parts list:

NGK Copper Spark Plugs (Part# LFR6A-11)

When you look through the NGK plugs the number in the first series (6) denotes the heat range.

I recently bought Autolites, gapped at .32 and so far no misfires. My old AC Delco ones were bad.

but that was on ur LSJ right? isnt it different for the LE5 or it really dont matter. Cause when im in idle it is good for most of the time but then randomly go rough and my arf hits 16.ish then goes back to normal... so I was thinking maybe its the plugs

Try .34, if that is still giving you issues drop to .32

I know stock gap is .35 for LNF/LSJ but yours is .42

Since your boosted, I would think it should be lower.

Could be, my idle was rough when I had the old spark plugs in. I was getting p0300 random missfire and p0302/03 for Missfire in Cylinder 2 and 3. No missfire so far and the idle is a tad bit better. Usually that has to due with the Tune. I am untunned with a Hahn CAI so I figure thats why my idle is off.

You will know immediately if the car doesnt like that gapping. it will probably sputter and die. I guess the only damage you could have is if the car goes lean and you have detonation. I wouldnt push it too hard.

Start it up, let it idle. Check your Interceptor and see if there any KR. Then slowly start to ramp it up.

I have been running a gap of .036 on the NGK LFR6A-11 with the 3" pulley on a 2.4. I have no idea if they are any better than the Autolites but I have no complaints after running them for about 14-15k miles.

For the mods you have at .43 i'd be surprised if you werent getting blowout. I'd try .32-.35.

Ya its weird I knew something was up.. cause when it idles it is a lil rough then also when im driving I give it a lil gas and then it studders a lil then its fine... im gonna see if thats the issue.

The spark plugs on ZZP website say those NGK are only for LSJ is that ok ? ALso they have the regular NGK spark plugs and the NGK- V... So which is the one and is it ok to put spark plugs that are for LSJ in LE5?
