Really? I've had them for a year and they've been fine. IF so, what should I change them out to.

I had ngk iridium ix in mine for a while, they worked fine, I wouldnt say any better than stock though. I pulled them out to look at them and they all started life gapped at 0.042 and after a couple months 3 had opened up to 0.043 and the other had opened p to 0.045 so I put the stockers back in but didnt notice a difference, I still have the ngks for when the stockers go south. I dont think youll notice much of a difference if any by changing spark plugs unless the old ones are worn out

Yea, mine were probably the biggest waste of money ever...a guy I work with said they are good with higher out put ignition system....so don't really know. I think my next kind will be the NGK's.

Guys, plugs aren't going to do anything to help you out. The stock plugs are perfectly fine and probably the best bet for your engine unless you upgrade to F/I or N2O. If you just have bolt-ons, just grab some stock AC Delco's and be on your way.

What's the best range of mileage to change them at? This is my first new car. I have like 32k on it now. All of my other cars I just changed the mas soon as I got them so it didn't matter. But I figured it'd be about time by now...

Technically, they're manufactured to last 100K, but we all know how these things go. Changing them every 30K is a bit neurotic, but it won't hurt anything. It's not like you're dropping a new engine in, this kinda thing won't break the bank...

I personally wouldn't use bosch or champion. Autolite, NGK, AC Delco are the best choices. JUST DONT USE COPPER PLUGS. The 2.2L and 2.4L come with double platinum plugs from the factory. These are not the cheapest and Chevy didn't use them just to waste money. The ignition in our cars is a "waste-spark" system; it fires twice as often as a conventional ignition system. It fires once on the compression stroke from the center to the side electrosde and AGAIN on the exhaust stroke from the center to the side electrode. The is caused by a polarity-reverse from the coil. DOUBLE PLATINUM PLUGS ARE REQUIRED for any kind of decent plug life. Your car will run on the $1.50 copper plugs, but the plugs wont last long due to the fact that they are pulling a double duty they were not designed for. The term "Double Platinum" means that both the side and center electrodes are platinum (stronger than copper). 2x platinum plugs will typically go 80-100K miles in GM cars.
