SS/NA 2.4L with Trifecta Tune ?'s
#51
Thinking I might go to the track soon, either this week or my next oil chang. The cooling down weather should do some good. That's how I ran my best stock time. Looks like i'm going to be driving my car this winter, first time since i've owned it, going to be a sad winter

Also the lsj downpipe has a higher flowing cat on it. just fyi.
And ive been tempted to get tuned. But unsure if I want to try a downpipe again or not. had a catted one on the car and it rubbed and made the exhaust very raspy. (im sure a large part of that has to do with the car having an slp exhaust)
Very good to hear its a good difference between stock and tuned though

the loudmouth is awesome gives our 2.4's a real ballsy sound i love mine, i have the slp and an injen cai, looking into getting a bad-mab shorty in the future and then a trifecta tune to go with it, you guys think i should get the lsj downpipe to before the tune? and with those mods wll i see a big difference in my auto 2.4?

Tuning these cars are great if you're looking for more response, mpg and overall performance. You won't see insane gains from it but can still "feel" the difference. If you were to toy with mods such as intake, exhaust, etc then I suggest you get a tune. Otherwise you're screwing with fuel trims and probably much more which doesn't help. Be careful toying with your transmission tune. Otherwise you'll end up like me with a slipping trans thanks to stiffer shifts.
