i would advise getting an aftermarket down pipe with a hi flow cat. i really don't think that you will see any gains with a ss/sc dp.

Do not get any SS/SC stuff. It's a waste of time and money. I am 100% sure the manifold is the same. Not sure about the downpipe. Just go aftermarket on both.

if i went with a DP that doesnt have a cat and it throws a code. how do you erase them? can you just ignore the codes?

i believe it is a little bigger but nothing that you would notice. check out Cobalt-Addiction. and im pretty sure if you have a 2.4 you do not need bigger injectors unless your going FI.

The SS/SC downpipe is bigger. The 2.4 Downpipe is 2.50" the SS/SC is 2.75". If you want a lil gain and no cel go with the SS/SC downpipe.

They are the same exact manifold. Either pick up a GMPP extrude honed exhaust manifold or get a header that will bolt up to the stock downpipe.
