Stock AMP Fuse

Stock AMP Fuse
I recently was driving last night and I was playing music cruising along and all of a sudden, the sound from the speakers cut off. The radio still lights up and everything is fine with the unit itself, however, nothing comes out of the speakers. The turn signal doesn't click either.
I know the AMP fuse blew because I opened the floor panel fuse box, the AMP fuse is busted. Every time I try to exchange out a fuse with the stock AMP fuse, It blows as I instantly push it in.
Here's a similar thread.

I can't have it fixed until Monday because Chevy dealerships around my area in Maryland don't have service technicians on the weekends.
Therefore, no music for another two days.
Any suggestions?

No specific experience, but if you keep blowing fuses, you have a short somewhere. more than likely the amp is bad. But thats just from my experience with car audio in general

Turns out I went to my local chevy dealership and my thoughts were exact. The stock amp fuse does have a short in it and parts needed to be ordered because they didn't have them in stock. I have to wait a few days to get the parts and then have them installed.
