Over 3k? lol you have got to be kidding. The turbo kit is not even that much I highly doubt the zzp SC kit will be over 3k.

i hope there kit is around 1500 otherwise i rather buy a used kit or piece one together... if its over then forget that!

also will the 2.0 intakes work for the kit?
what about the TB 8 or 6 pin?
what are the specs on the sc? (hp rating/flow/pulley size/dual pass option b compatable)
can a tvs be a direct swap?

i want these questions to be answered...

you have to realize, on an automatic (not sure if you are) or manual the TVS will be very tight, nobodys done it but its going to be a tight fit, not sure if it will even fit the automatic

its going to be a little more then a little tight, ill try to get some pics of how close my m62 was, with the stock pulley it ALMOST hit, thats why i didnt use it, thats not taking into account the motor movement

and you gotta be kidding me if you think their SC kit will use new SCs. they will probably inspect them, and rebuilt them as necessary, but they definitely will not be the $1,000 new unit (MSRP is $1,500 on a new M62 fyi)

It would be awesome if they offered the TVS as an upgrade. You might see fitment issues on auto with a TVS though.

So I've always had the intent to get the turbo kit from zzp. U get more power from turbos than sc's right? Dad always said "go big or go home". Well, if money wasn't an option, are there any pros to the sc kit that would make it better than the turbo kit? i.e. lower maintenance, eaiser install, etc etc...

ive installed both, they both are equally as hard, i personally think the turbo setup is easier to put on, but thats just me, and it depends what boost you run, what size turbo you go with, as a 2.2 your kind of maxed out at the same level turbo or s/c unless you do some internals

they've been buying M62's for quite a while on here..nad they can always hit up ebay if they need to. I'm mostly confused how they have enough IMs.

probably new.
the old kits on pace were $2500, and that included a $1500 new SC. that means the rest of the parts are only $1k. If they get the parts for $1k, the blower for $300, and sell it all on here for $1500, thats $200 profit per sale. That also doesnt take into consideration the markup on the pace kits, so the parts are probably less than $1k, and they can probably find a better deal or something as well.

These are guesses..but makes sense to me

Also, I would be interested in knowing what they are going to do for tuning. As far as I know Trifecta is the only one to crack the ecu, so will they be working with vince, or aem F/IC, or something that we don't know about yet? Just curious becuase if a tune or reflash isnt part of the kit, that will be another expense on top of the kit. Just wondering what they will be using. Personally, I am very happy that they are doing this, and I am very interested in hearing more info from them. I have been waiting for someone to FINALLY put out a complete kit.

They might just give us 2.2s a discount just like they do with the turbo setups.

the only reason there is a discount is because they don't have tuning support for the L61s and the L61 option doesn't include a PCM. lol.

i'd still prefer trifecta for tuning because the recent breakthroughs Vince has made has led me to believe he knows his ****.
