i'm aware... but the car is also only 4 months old. i wanna have enough miles on it that i'm SURE there is nothing wrong. wouldn't want a wrist pin to snap and them tell me it's cause of the blower.

alright just checking because last year one of my long time friends was telling me how badly he wanted to turbo his jetta, but he didnt want to void the warranty on the car and volkswagens are pretty unreliable too, and i told him they legally have to warranty the car except for trans and engine if he turbos and he was all because he had wanted to for months and thats all that was holding him back...needless to say now he has a t/c jetta.

regardless which route you take, turbo or SC, its gonna be expensive - i'd say with a turbo you'd get the most power for you dollar

probably right. but, with an SC done right, you'll always be able to go to a chev dealer with a part number

Just throwing this out there.... How can I limit the Eaton SC to 8 psi? I know that the stock lsj's are running 8-12, but I want my limit to be 12. Its not as easy as a turbo to throw on a blow off....at least I think. Anyone have any input?

I was also looking into supercharging my 2.4ss, but I'm actually in a binde..No company's actually came out with the supercharger yet right? I was wondering if anyone here has tried anything else supercharger wise..next is that i was wondering if anyone up here has put nitrous on their car?? if so what was the process and what company actually has a nitrous kit for this car..

nitrous yes.....supercharger no....the supercharger swap is very complicated and too costly(for most)...go with the turbo that hahn racecraft is comming out with before long.....theres a special forum on here for nitrous so check it out....personally i dont reccomend it but thats just me....

i dont see whats so hard about just going to the dealer with the part #'s from the lsj supercharger and pulleys and heat exchanger some bigger injectors and some hp tuners i think it could be done pretty easily since all the motors have the same base

I beg to differ. An LSJ SC install will be easy for anyone who has done turbo/SC installs..

why would you buy the damn heaton...?? SERIOUSLY... it's more inefficient than any other form of F/i go with a different SC or a turbo...

yes it's possible but for the amount of money you'll spend you could do something else thats better... plus it's not like GM will warranty your engine with the LSJ SC ... just cuz it's a GMPP doesn't mean anything.. it wasn't meant for the 2.4 ergo they wont warranty it. sorry guys but it just seems silly to use the eaton... you'll make better numbers with less chance of blowing your engine on ANY other system out there...

and while there isn't a "kit" if you look into it enough you can do something custom and you'll be alright
