throttle body HELP!!!!

Hey ya'll sry if their is already a post on this but i am not very good with computers but,....
earlier today i pulled my throttle body off and cleaned it.. after reinstalling it and checking for leaks i started the car.. now my rpms are at 2000 at idle.. i tried several ways to "relearn" the zero position including removing the negative battery cable for 10 min that diden't work, Conecting the positive and neg to the car to drain the cap and reset it that diden't work.. i just compleated my drive cycles and all of my i/m moniters are set but still no luck.. Also wile im moving if i throw it in neutral my rpms bounce around 3500 to 4000,, if anyone has anyideas on what i could do or what needs done i could really use the help
My code is a p 0507
07 2.4l le5, intake, full exhaust
thanks

pulling the battery cables and holding them together clears the codes...

Without actually having the car in front of me with my scope and scan tool, I cannot verify; but if you got any moisture inside the throttle body(where all sensors and motor located) you could be buying a throttle body.

All the GM throttle bodies I have replaced/messed with have no relearn procedure.

Double check that you didn't leave anything unplugged, then take it to someone that has the proper equipment to diagnose the car.

The main chemicals I use are Valvoline currently(we are contracted with them...)But my personal best chemicals for TB cleaning and air induction services are BG products, and ACDelco X66(cut 50/50 w/ gas)

When doing a throttle body cleaning service, if possible remove the throttle body, or have someone hold down the gas pedal while you clean the bore.
Use a cheap toothbrush, like from the dentist, and dip/spray chemicals onto the brush, shake off excess; Then scrub the throttle body. Take your time, make sure to use the chemical to clean off the brush every now and then. After a time or two around the TB bore(and blade), it'll look clean but there will be like a thin coat of carbon stuck on the bore still, put a LITTLE bit of chemical on a shop towel and make the bore shiny.
reinstall.

when i was cleaning it i had it removed off of the car and i moved the plate around by hand do you think it could be my issue with it.. n it does need to be replaced.. the only thing that does not make sense is that i know that the plate is closed wile the car is running and i don't have any vacuum leaks.

Your not suppose to do this. Like the previous post, when cleaning the throttle body you need to have somebody displace the accelerator down and carefully wipe down the inside. Do not, I repeat do not spray the inside with cleaner.

I quite often move the plate(if you mean the throttle blade) while its off the vehicle.
78% chance that you will be buying a throttle body

What usually kills them is the excess cleaner going on the butterfly shaft into the sensitive electronics.

Depending on how you go about getting it diagnosed, without the proper tools, new cars are hard to diagnose properly. If you dont want to spend 100-130$ diagnostic time at a shop, your next best bet is to get a buddy with a balt the same year and swap over one part at a time basically
