Traction control is taken care of somewhere around the drive axel and the cv joint. THere are notches in there taht a computer reads and if a wheel is spinning faster than it should the TC takes control. I dont mind it at all driving around here in the winter. damn snow is gay.

I have worse problems on the snow with tc and antilock brakes than i did with a 300+ hp rwd V8 car from the 70's. nothing sucks worse than turning into a snowy intersecion and having your car stop flash low raction as you sit relitivly helpless untill the car feels its ok to move ...eventually.

My favorite thing about the traction control is the ability to have the gas to the floor and the wheel cut all the way to the left, and keep going straight in snow until you take your foot off the gas, at which point you slingshot in whichever direction you've got the wheel cut to. Hours of entertainment.
