Sounds pretty sweet.

What kind of tuning do they lean towards? Like are they going for taking away the locks on power but a relatively safe tune or a really aggressive one?

I'd probably get some performance modifications before the tune, You may see an increase in gas mileage and higher rpm, but i do not know what kind of performance gains you will see with out performance mods.

It's a very safe tune! It's edged towards more power, but it's tunning the engine to "how it should have ran" It's not too aggressive and is very dependable

I contacted Vince myself for tuning on my car and this is a response that I received from him regarding questions that I had. This may answer some of you guys' questions.

"We don’t have a lot of information on our site because we offer the programming through an exclusive retailer at the moment, but I’d be happy to answer your questions.

Our tune optimizes the fuel and spark advance curves to make more power. We also ditch the dreaded PE delay so the car doesn’t feel non-responsive as it does with the stock tune. We adjust the fan temps and we also adjust the speed/rev limiters as necessary.

If you run a high flow cat, we disable the P0420 DTC as many high flow cats will cause this DTC to be set.

Customers have told me they have had no issue passing emissions with our tune.

Yes, we build a custom tune based on your specific vehicle, not a canned tune. Yes, the price is $250. Shipping is flat-rate $35 and includes a prepaid return shipping label for sending the tuner back to us. There’s also a $200 deposit on the hardware so you have an incentive to send it back. ;-)

Any other questions, please do not hesitate to ask."

He also commented that their beta test car was an '06 Cobalt LS and that they observed a 10 HP and 10 TQ increase with their tune; he expected more power increase depending on what engine and what bolt ons were used. Even the 10 HP aint too shabby for $250.
