My car actually ran worse than stock after all the bolt on's before my tune... I may have been a little over zealous with prior statements but it def feels like a new car.... the way an NA car should run stock as far as im concerned

Stock SS/SC's put down between 210-215whp & 185-190wtq on avg.
You are not near that.
I do want to congratulate you though, because I know how fun it is bringing out the potential of these cars.

They were underrated from the factory.
If rated correctly, they would have been around 230-240bhp.
Still do
It's my winter car. 160k & still kicking.

Many many "performance" cars were underrated before the new standards when into effect. Lot of debate over whether it was to make customers happy, giving them more power than they expected or whether it was so that insurance rates would be lower. Either way the new standard doesn't allow room for underrating engines anymore.
I wish I still had mine, I miss that car like crazy. Traded it in when I got the SS.

Yeah I've seen both around. I remember running the white cavy on my way to bellevue one time a while back. Texted troy who you know and said you were in the passenger seat. I'm the one with the red 4dr s/c with the auto shitbox.

The rating standards changed between when the LSJ was rated (2003 I think) and when the LNF was rated (2007 or 2008).

It was the first car I modded, haha.
It's stock again other than a Vibrant Intake, Airaid throttle body spacer, and Pacesetter header/downpipe combo. It used to run circles around my buddy's lightly modded (intake) Z24, haha.

There was only a 10hp different between the two in 98.
I sold mine at 115,000 miles, ran into the guy who bought it, and the car lasted till 275,000. Not bad for an econobox.
