but hey atleast now with your new little whip you can kinda sneak up on other cars that would normally take you.
ie: civic si's, scion tc, older v6 mustang and camaro's, etc.

The rating standards changed between when the LSJ was rated (2003 I think) and when the LNF was rated (2007 or 2008).
Many many "performance" cars were underrated before the new standards when into effect. Lot of debate over whether it was to make customers happy, giving them more power than they expected or whether it was so that insurance rates would be lower. Either way the new standard doesn't allow room for underrating engines anymore.
I wish I still had mine, I miss that car like crazy. Traded it in when I got the SS.

I must say... my 1st gear is "crazy" to me... at least compared to prior getting tuned.... i couldnt break the wheels loose at all before.... now if i get into it i cant keep the tires from spinnin like crazy and chirps from 1st to 2nd pretty good.... probably moreso than my 5spd 07ssna i had... mind you that one only had a SRI and no tune either

Put it in "I" gear its even better trust me lol. I believe my trifecta tune was the best mod I purchased outside of the header/downpipe combo. As far as what cars you can hang with I'd say the last generation and latest generation civic si's, v6 hyundai tiburon, 2.0 stock genesis coupe, kia forte koupe, scion tc. all those vehicles you could keep with or beat depending on what mods they have.

The line pressure is even more and it breaks loose even more and the rpms stay higher so it feels even more responsive. Try it out for yourself you'll see what I mean when you do.

Well Not True, My LSJ Stock Clutch was Fine and then once I did all my MODs it started slipping and I just replaced it with a GMPP Clutch, My LSJ has 70k and I bought it at 49K Stock. He's right the stock clutch's are just NOT Rated for much more power than stock. Its Not always the driver, Clutch's are a "Wear" Item and they go Bad at Different milages depending on a number of factors such as environment, Driven Hard, etc

Most Definitley! I owned several Early 90's cav's including my first new car I ever bought back in 2000 which was a 2000 Cavalier LS Sport, Effen cars run baby! I remember in my partying days I had over 150,000 miles on it(my 1992)and beat the crap out of it and every thing was boke on it ex the window kept falling off the tracks, my seat back totally broke and the back of my seat was actually laying on my back seat Lol, But the Engine would NOT Quit!!

but to get to my point, i pulled on him slightly throughout our whole pull from 40 when i had only an intake and catback
im interested to see where we would stack up now that ive added a LSJ dp/2.4IM/2.4TB/Trifecta Tune but he only drives the car in summer cuz the springs he is on makes it sit way too low for winter driving (so looks like i wont know until summer)
