Trifecta tuned today.... WOW :)

Adding a transmission cooler is up for debate. A lot of people say that a trans cooler on a 4t45 causes issues by introducing air/foaming.

well trans coolers are a good idea (is what I've heard) though I dont have an automatic (W00t!) <-hehe
so if someone knows for sure then correct me , this is only what I've heard oh-so many times

On other trans it might help. But on the 4t45 maven and john from Powell racing say its a bad idea. And they both have extensive experience with the delta platform.

Since your trifeca tuned you prob gained 15hhp if that. The main thing you feel is the tranny setting. I'm just saying trifecta is conservative so its not a bad tune so don't take it that way....So your not around what a lsj puts to the ground on average. Your car may be quick to your perspective which is what matters..
I have a built pontiac g8 gt 6.0L v8 and it runs 12s tuned to 425HP. It's less fun to daily drive and throw around than my modded cobalt was, even though the cobalt was immeasurably slower. I still had more fun, and thats what it's all about, the owners perspective.

I've got essentially the same setup as the OP, just different brands on my parts. Taking my car to the track Friday (Hopefully the event doesn't get postponed again), and I'll post pics of slips. My goal is to stay N/A and break 14's with my SS/NA auto
