The jet chip for an '08 2.4L -

This Chip says it is for a 2008 GM with the 2.4L. But at the bottom of the window it says Cobalt and nothing about the G5

So they seem to be 2 different chips. But the engine between the G5 and the Cobalt is the same exact thing, right? So technically you can purchase the chip for your year car, whether it be a G5 or Cobalt?

I have a 2007 Cobalt 2.4L and I want a chip since I don't have the money or time to learn how to tune right now. So I am assuming the second link I posted is the one I want to get.
Sorry about my consistent questioning, I jsut want to make sure I don't get the wrong part when I get it.

One last thing, does the chip get rid of the fuel shut off at 130MPH? I'm tired of my friend rubbing it in that he doesn't shut off until a higher speed then me. I want to just make sure he knows I am faster then him now.

I am using the Jet Chip Module. It works nice, have no CELs or other driving problems. It has given me low-end power increase -- don't feel that slow take-off until 4K RPM. Runs hard from idle to redline.

The Jet Chip Module attaches where the middle connector goes in the ECM. Remember, it's a detachable module not a "chip" -- there is not a factory chip.

10708 is the part number for the 07 Cobalt 2.4L Stage 1 module. Get it through JEGS for the lowest price $239. It will take 7-10 days to ship -- it is not an off-the-shelf part but made at Jet Chip upon ordering. JEGS did not charge my Credit Card until it shipped too -- nice touch. I have no intention of going 130MPH to check the cutoff!

Yeah sorry, I understand its not a chip. It was just easier to type that in.

Ok, I thought that part number only worked for the 2008 Cobalt 2.4L. I was checking out Jegs, as my post shows, I just wasn't sure about that module working for an '07. I have reached the 130MPH, I was curious as to when the car stopped going faster.

Just had to subscribe, I may need to give this guy Vince a call after a couple more mods and see what he can do for me. This is the first I've heard of Trifecta, so thanks for the info ppl.

I called Jet Performance and the 07 and 08 use the same mod.

Sweet, thanks man. I'm adding this chip as my next upgrade for the car since there isn't anyone around to tune it for me.
