What is that turbo capable of? 15? 20? 400whp? or more?

Forgive me because I really dont know specs of turbos and stuff right of the top of my head, I've mostly had N/A heads and cams cars with the occasional squirt of NAWWWS every now and then..lol

I was also looking at the LNF turbo manifolds they have there but I think itd probably be too much work for me to piece together a kit and all that. In my experience its easier to just get a kit that works good and go from there.

There one on ebay right now for $115 shipped but it has two studs broken off, which anyone could repair

in case anyones looking for an LNF manifold..is it against forum rules to post a link to an ebay item?

Hey do you guys hook up your wideband permanently and program it to output in place of your stock narrowband as well as the output to your gauge/HPTuners?

Because thats what I usually do, just wondering if you guys just tune it and pull the wideband off and put the narrowband back in place like stock..

Im going to have an LC-1 on the Cobalt, wire permanently...

Just curious as to what you guys are doing?

They're MSR045's. I recently powdercoated them a black candy.

Not sure how to answer this one. The AEM wideband has a wire that you can solder a banana plug into. HPtuners can plug into that to read AFR. Simple.

S256et says can support up to 500whp max
psi not sure, but stock fueling runs out 12-14psi from what I've heard

My aem is permanent, I have no cat so its in the end of the downpipe, stock front o2 still there.

Have you ever thought of programming one of the auxilary outputs to act as a narrowband and putting it further upstream? You could simulate your narrowbands signal, which is mV. I dont know if your AEM does that, but I know the LC-1s do. Im sure yours does, its a common feature I would think...

The idea is to get a better reading to your PCM. If you have STFTs and LTFTs pulling or adding fuel...I would think using a wideband all the time would be better than using narrowbands, which are most accurate around 14.7 AFR anyways...

IDK just throwing an idea out there...

Wow 500who is insane for such a light car lol. I dont think Id really need any more than that! lol. Ive had 500rwhp in a 3500ish pound Z28 and it was crazy fast for what it was.

I cant imagine what 500whp would be like in a little Cobalt haha

trust me .. coming from experience going lnf isn't worth it less you're going straight to the bnr and for that price you can get the zzp kit. my car has not been a cake walk.. however I got everything at HUGE discounts so it made it worth while

Cool, thanks for the heads up... yeah I was looking at the flange and it seems kinda small? Maybe its bigger in person lol

Ive never even heard of BNR, I havent been following the Cobalt stuff the last few years...

But yeah for sure thanks for the heads up.

I cant wait til I get settled in up there in my new home...will be nice to meet some good people, down here where I live most people are just out to make bucks..not friends.

It'll be nice to be tuning again and hopefully I can help others along the way TOO
