turbo exhaust manifold ?!

im currently putting together a turbo kit for my le5..and for the life of me i cannot find a turbo exhaust manifold maid for this car..i did read somewhere that i can bolt on the lnf's mani ..is this literally our only option aside from fabricating a custom exhaust manifold? and lastly ..i understand the restriction of the stock exhaust manifold but cant i bolt my turbo right on to my stock manifold and focus my concerns on making a dp? is that possible? what would i be risking ..please and thank you!

if you're not sure where to find a manifold or how everything should be bolted up, i don't think you should do this project quite yet. manifold depends on what kind of turbo you're going to get. if you're going to get the stock k04 turbo, you will need the stock manifold (i think badmab makes one too, not sure). if you plan on going aftermarket turbo, ttr or zzp will be your answer

Treadstone also makes a beautiful cast stainless manifold if you are looking to run anything other than a factory LNF turbo (which I would not advise, the factory setup doesn't work that well on non-LNF cars)

All Ecotec exhaust manifolds are physically interchangeable, you can easily use the LSJ/LNF mani on your car. I installed a ZZP kit on a 2.4 and it was the same manifold as the LSJ one at the time, they both even cracked in the same places

they are specifically designed for the correct angle to flow the exhaust gases to spin the turbo. slightest mishap on angle/weld and your turbo could spin the turbine backwards and make your car blow up
