Okay, I honestly do NOT know pricing, but based on existing similar kits, a fair guess would be a little over 3 grand.

Geoff is right...except for that little detail of 'official release'. It's really not his fault...in a conversation I had with him a couple weeks back, I offered that we were just about ready to go with this one, and I gave him the impression that we'd have released it by now.

First off, let me address the original intent of the thread. No, that turbosystem will not fit a Cobalt. It is indeed a Cavalier-Sunfire setup, and, might I add, a real steal at that price! Similar systems on mildly built engines have resulted in low 11-second, 125mph performances.

Now, on to the 2.4. Yes, we are about to release a turbosystem. Yes, it is available for automatic trans cars. Yes, it's awesome!

I shall start a new thread in the next day to run down all the tasty details. I'll make sure to post a link on this thread.

Viva la VVT!!!
interesting, could I possibly take the 2.4 kit and adapt it to a 2.0..??
thats the million dollar question..

That's not a very specific question. Do you mean use it as a twin charger? Or as a stand alone kit with the supercharger removed? Either way, you really might be better off waiting for a specific application.

It was specific enough but vague at the same time. I would rather keep the supercharger and twin charge it. They mentioned working on a twin-charged kit in the past and I'm still curious about that route.

I see pricing between 3-4k. Their solstice kit was at 4k, but heir cavy kits were a little over 3k. We'll have to wait and see.

Yes they have tuning, either it comes with a pre-programmed ecu or you send yours out to get re-flashed.

btw-2.0 and 2.2 guys need to get their own thread and get out of ours

They should have both, the 5-speed was worked on and developed before the auto.

You won't need pistons unless you wanna up the boost and keep it reliable. And i've yet to hear of any solstice guys blowing an intake manifold like the ONE guy did on here.

Hey now, the 2.2 manifold is much different, its a 2 piece. and i only watched the boost up to 3500rpms(20psi). it could have been 25-30psi by redline, but i never pushed it that far after the gauge was installed.

BTW, Congrats 2.4 guys =P Its worth the price!
