if its the DC sports strut bar you have to make it go into place. i put a towel around one end and then got a rubber hammer and tapped it into place.

Dosent fit how? I know for the DC bar it'll require you to jack up the passenger front side of the car to allow the strut to move into place of the bar.

when in doubt, use a bigger hammer. this is what i learned in from my shop teacher.
and in north tx its in the low 20s all the time. that not with wind.

I installed the DC sports bar on my SS/SC the other day in like 10 minutes... all it took was a level parking lot and a quick tap-a-roo with the rubber mallet (nothing very hard) and it popped right on.

Dunno about any other brands... sorry...

I just got my Modern Performance DC Sports Strut Bar after they had it powder-coated for me and followed the installation instructions. After having to jack-up the passenger side it just took a little nudge to pop it on.
