i got my tune file on my computer if anyone is doing tuning for the 2.4 manual.everything in my sig is what i have it tuned for. i sent another guy my tune so he can work on it for auto. it originally was auto from physco. i changed it to manual. but if anyone is running the same mods as me let me know i can send it out.

So Psychosteveo, did you just create one 2.4SS tune or multiple tunes? I see both Rliden and KingSS are running your tunes, but how do they stack up against each other? I have full bolt ons, so will KingSS's tune be sufficent to my car?

Anyone putting the autotune on their car should note that some cars may not shift out of first under WOT, and some will. To fix that issue take 1-3 mph out of the shift mph in 1-2 shift. Don't know why they do that, but some do, maybe it has something to do with different tire sizes.

There is a manual tune and an auto tune. They are like 98% identical for the engine, and obviously the manual tranny is left alone since there is not a tunable TCM.

You will probably want Rlinden's, because the DP will make a difference, and he made some good changes to COT, probably even turned it off all together.

COT? Throw me a bone here, im new to tuning and all the ECU jazz. It'd be alot easier for me to use TheKingSS's tune, as I can meet him in person at Pro Motion and have them upload the tune from his car to their HP Tuners software they have on hand. Are you reffering to something to do w/ the rear O2 sensor, b/c I plan on turning that off the get my CEL off. And im sure Pro Motion could tweak w/e the COT is to better suit my DP, as they are professional HP Tuners tuners. Thanks.

Sorry I sound like a noob, im really not. Its just that in my past cars, I never really needed tuning to run all my mods efficently. My '88 RX-7 was prehistoric, so w/e I threw at it, it just accepted it w/ no CELs and I went on my way. And im asking alot of ?'s about tuning b/c I want to get it right the FIRST time, as I don't have alot of time or money here......

I will run the SS/SC injectors of thats what TheKingSS has. I have SS/SC injectors on hand (bought them from Dervin3 a while back), but running the injectors isn't a big deal. So if he has them, then i'll put them in along with the correct wiring harness so his tune will work better with my car, and if he dosen't have the injectors, then I wont put them in. Either way, meeting up with him and using his tune (slightly altered) is probally the only realistic way my car is ever gonna see HP Tuners, so I gotta take this oppritunity. Thanks for the help, and get back with me on the '06-'07 differences.

TheKingSS: once I hear more from Psychosteveo, maybe we can make this a reality. He said I can use the tune from your car, and have Pro Motion make slight alterations to it, mainly for the '06-'07 year difference. So if I were to pick a day to make this happen, it'd likely be Thursday, June 21st. Im off Thur/Fri which is why I picked that day. My car is getting dynoed next Thur. (14th) so the following Thur. would be best for me. Fri. the 22nd would work too, so just let me know. Thanks again for the help.
Im definitely willing to meet with you, my only problem is Im leaving for a cruise on the 21st, if you could do the tune on the 20th or before then life would be perfect. And I have the full bolt ons as well, just no DP, but like you said Pro Motion can probably adjust to your specs. But like I said, definitely willing to meet with you, hopefully before my cruise. Oh, and Ill be back from the cruise on july 1st if no day before the 20th works for you.

If possible, want to meet next Thur. when im getting dynoed? I can talk to Pro Motion and see what they say about fitting some extra work w/ my car into their schdule. I mean hell, my car will already be on the dyno, and I can't imagaine taking a pre-set tune and applying it to my car should take too long. Granted, they will need to tweak it a bit for my '07 model and to work in the DP, but even so, I can't imagine that taking tooo long. Let me know and i'll talk to them and get back with you. Thanks again man. Pro Motion is near alot of good resturants, so if all goes well, i'm def taking you out to eat in a very non-homosexual way, lol.

p.s., do you have the SS/SC injectors? If so, I need to order that harness and pray its here by next Thur.

Could some one email me the 2.4 tune? I would like to compare it to the Ion LE5 tune.

REDFOCZ@hotmail.com thanks

awesome man, sounds good.

I'm ordering the injector harness I need from GM Parts Direct as we speak, so HOPEFULLY it'll be here by the day that we meet up. If not, we may have to bump it back a few days, but likely still before you hit the open seas on your cruise. Even if we have to do it after the cruise, thats no big deal, but i'd really like it done before July 15th, b/c thats when im headed down to Myrtle Beach for a week. I need that speed to hit those open roads, ya know? So i'll def keep you posted next week as to whether or not the harness comes in. Either way im still going to Pro Motion to get a baseline on the dyno, but no need for you to come down just to watch that, lol. But keep your fingers crossed for next week!
