Few nights ago my dad was picking up my car for me at the dealer. just getting the tires rotated and safety inspection. on the way home the car stalled. started right back up and it started bucking and not running on all cyl. so he pulled over turned it back off then turned it back on it was fine. then my cel came on and a power engine reduce message came up and the car wouldn't go over 25mph. got the car home i called gm road side and over the phone i told them the car was lowered and to tell the towing company. towing company today calls and i tell him over the phone the car is 2inch lowered it wont fit on a flat bad it needs a tow truck and then im not sure if the rear will scrape. so he wanted me to sign a paper stating if there is damage its on me. so i told him to forget it ill drive it myself. so i brought it to the shop this morning with my mom fallowing me in her car. they told me there is 3 codes im waiting for them to call me back to tell me whats going on. I want to call them back but don't want to be a pain in the ass but i want to know whats going on with my car lol.

haha I know but i want them to do a good job. I called at 10 and they said she was out road testing it and that it had 3 codes stored in the computer and they would call me. now its 12 and no call.

 

It's only noon.. id say if you dont hear from them by 1, call them. Have to give them a chance to get to it..

 

yeah that is what im going to do. its not at a dealer is at a shop that can do gm warranty work.

 

My SS's starter just died, and my battery in the same day. In the shop, Also getting new tires and front wheel bearings. Welcome to the world of "Waiting" on your car. lol

 

only lowered 2 inches? it can get on a flatbed fine with a couple boards.

I new they could tow it the tow truck guy was just being stupid and lazy. they did crush the front lip one time when it was stock height trying to get it on a flat bed but they loaded it wrong. all he need where ramps to higher it up to get on the truck.

you couldnt rotate the tires yourself? safety inspection?! lol and now it runs funny and your spending money on parts? hmm seems scammy to me. take the tb off and clean it yourself. as far as the rest, need codes to know exactly.

yah i've been on a flatbed when some slashed my tires, went up fine.

pffftt. 74K on a belt! i've got 150K and i've never replaced it ( stupid me) i have it in the garage, just haven't done it.

 

I have to bring my car into the dealer ever 7k for them to rotate the tires when i get to 26k i can get a set of new tires at no charge to me so yeah the car does go back to the dealer. Im not paying for any of the repairs i bought the extended warranty when i bought the car im covered till 100k no deductible and i got a free rental car. It wasn't that tb was dirty she said i asked she said it was clean. when i pick the car up tomorrow ill see what they wrote on the paper


I travel to much with this car to take any chanced with worn out parts. So i would rather have them change the belt since its there then have it snap on me when im driving 1000s of miles from my house. there also doing the fuel filter since i never did that

Just got a 2010 Cobalt SS/TC Unfortunately its gonna take 2 weeks for them to get the title and another 2 weeks to ship it from Illinois.

Now that SUCKS . I know the feeling buddy
