Well, Christine's at the dealer...

I've seen bad TPS signal cause the same issue, as well as fuel trims.
Also I would find another dealership cause there driveabilty tech is a sorry excuse for a technician. Driveabilty problems aren't always cut and dry.

i know vince tuned my tranny and left the gm torque management on i mean it doesnt feel like its shifting clean at all but thats what u get when u s/c a n/a car. What do you mean you cant replace the tranny every 8 months this happened before?

She's back home. She'll be parked in the garage until I can get all of the absolutely necessary parts I still need (LE5 IM, TB, tensioner pulley) and then I'm going to convert her back to N/A... I may start pulling parts off before then, but I want to make sure I at least have line of sight to getting the parts... This'll also give me some time to bank a bit more cash to pay for the repair. If all goes well, I'll have her naturally aspirated and have sold the kit before paying for the repair and it won't cost me much out of pocket...

.... so your going back to n/a even though theres a good possibility its just a tuning issue? Now im confused, im fairly confident your tranny is fine, your not putting that much power through it. ZZP made a **** ton of passes with twice as much torque through their stock tranny before it finally gave out and all it seen was WOT driving.
Your choice, but what a waste of time to go S/C just to freak out and sell it off at the sign of an issue. Thats the risk of modding any car, you push it, something might give, in your case, it could be completely fine and just need a tranny tune and your on your way.
No offense but you shouldn't be modding cars if thats what you do when theres an issue. You dont even know what your issue is and your already going to go back to stock.

Sometimes it's a better choice to accept defeat, appease the giver of the sexeh time, and keep the peace...
That said, I'll be more competitive in ST than I would be in SMF, anyways

Figure I'd give an update. Took it to another dealer in the area (much bigger than the local one, it's in Peoria). Took the transmission guy (who apparently replaces 4T45E's like crazy in Malibu's and Cobalts) for a ride he said it could be the torque converter or a problem with the valve body, but he couldn't be sure, either.
I'm heading out for vacation so I just left it with them and told them to figure it out Hopefully when I get back into town she'll be back up and running and ready for some fun in the turns.
