well whats the diff from the solstice to us? its the same motor, just different piping n ****
if they can get a tune, so can we, why not just get the same parts n what not anf do custom piping and a custom tune,

i cant afford the turbo right now, nor am i currently interested in boosting for the first 50k of my motor, maybe after, but i think a lot of people wanna get kits just cause its easier and its "bolt-on"

someone should just get the parts, put em on, tune it and then do a really good write up on parts and tuning, then we'd all be good,

now we just need someone to do it for us

Sounds great just don't buy anything from hahn.
And that is just it who wants to buy all the **** and then ethier pay a furtune for it to be installed or try to do it in there shop outback with no dyno no diagnostic computer and witch hahn has not to mention there 20 years exp witch i am starting to ??.
Eventually some one with money or some kid that had his car bought buy his parents
will do it and hahn will try to compete.
Hahn get it on at lest give some dependible time frame sh=t or get off the pot if ypu can't take the heat get the f--k out the kitchen

For sure they'll rush this now, they'll even work nights and weekends. I would like things to hit the market for us also. yeah it's frustrating but their isn't much we can do about it. It's just what ppl have to put up with. the ppl with the solstice are happy. I just wish we were. Should of bought the solstice I guess. It would also be nice if the companies would be more on the up and up and say their working on a more demanding project instead of telling us other things

If I had 3k right now I would be able to be the prototype 2.4auto for a shop here in san antonio. I would be getting:
super 20g turbo
all the turbo accessories
fuel injectors
high flow fuel pump
return fuel lines I believe
and some other fuel system upgrades that I can't remember
3in exhaust system
and custom tune

Lately though I've been thinking of finding someone to take over payments and get a SS/SC

well custom may be the way to go but since hahn is actually working on the ss/sc with making them a turbo kit i guess we could buy the hard parts for that kit and just custom tune

What hard parts? There's nothing custom from that kit that you'd want. Think about it... what needs to be custom fabbed? Piping and exhaust manifold? You can get an exhaust manifold elsewhere (there is a seller on ebay that makes ecotec exhaust manifolds with about any flange you'd want for a turbo... and it's cheaper)... and the piping wouldn't fit your car. The turbo, intercooler, injectors, etc. can all be purchased independently (and cheaper).

Plenty. I have a few of the parts sitting at home already... and I know where are few more are available for purchase. If you're truly interested, message me on AIM (ppazz13) and I'll talk with you about it when I'm home from work.

Well I got a good Idea for the original poster...

Instead of posting on a Public Forum that has no relation to Hahn about Hahn, why don't you contact Hahn themselves and see what they have to say. They aren't really a big company, they know whats going on.

to njhk...just seeing if anyone knew anything ...and i was bored....anyways id rather have the hahn turbo system...but i might end up getting a whipple supercharger or the tvs from eaton when it comes out and just go supercharged.....it would prbably be a bit easier and wouldnt require alot of parts....atleast not to start with....not sure yet though.....

Just cause they don't post much doesn't mean they don't care...

The 2.4 solstices already have their turbo kits available.

They don't seem to have a problem making turbos for foreign cars though, this is america
they are a american based company you would think american made cars would come first.
Not only that but then they act like it is a BIG change from manual to auto .
still feel the same way

In January and February Hahn will be making major product releases for the Cobalts. He's actually working his ass off.

Heres my emails from a couple of weeks ago.

Hi my name is Xen,

Im very interested in this kit just wondering when some numbers are going to be released?
Like: WHP?
TQ?
Price? its been rumored but not confirmed.

Also will we be able to go from a stock car to twin charge and not worry about the car breaking?
And is it possible to gat a Veterans Discont on the kit that would be great i can provide proof that im a veteran if needed?

Please Reply ASAP.
Thank you
Xen

We are still working out the final deatils with our twin-charger system, as hope to have all the performance numbers released by the Holidays!
Hang in there.
