what to look for when picking exhaust?

ok..pretty much every exhaust that i find keeps saying "only fits sc"..or.."does not fit non sc or non turbo models"..and doesnt the sc and the na have the same 2.5 inch pipe? y wouldnt i be able to fit ? i really like the sound of the loudmouth and its affordable ..but again says it wont fit the na? ..i want something mean and loud..any suggestions on what to look for ?

I was under the impression that all "SC" exhaust systems will fit? I could have sworn that the only "fitment" issue falls on if its an auto or not. The auto clocks the motor forward towards the bumper a little bit which can cause fitment issues near the header/dp. Vibrant is a prime example of this. My headers rub without a solid upper mount.

Edit: I'm an Automatic

Any of the cat backs that fit the 2.2 or sc will fit the 2.4

This is true, solid mounts help prevent rocking of the engine, which helps reduce exhaust hitting, and flex joints breaking...

OP: We have many exhaust systems on www.TurboTechRacing.com that fit your application, PM us with any questions

Mandrel exhaust systems/trubendz will build you anything you want, and is very reasonable depending on material used and size, etc.

Any cat-back that says it will fit the ss/sc will fit on a 2.4. The only thing you want to be careful of is a catback designed for the 2.2, some will be too short but others will work. Just look for a good ss/sc catback. I love my magnaflow btw
